Sarah and Spencer were my first couple in 2020 who had to reschedule their wedding and scrap their original plans. Joey and I were so excited that they still came to beautiful Zion for their wedding, even though it was just the four of us. It couldn’t have been better, in my book.

We started the day at Under Canvas Zion, adventured up the mountain in their Jeep, hiked, picnicked in a field (and they even shared their wine with us. My fav!) and then they exchanged vows as the sun set behind them. Joey signed the marriage license and took photos along with me. The best of both! Sarah planned everything so perfectly and made it such a beautiful, special day. After the sun went down, we headed back to camp and they enjoyed some s’mores, wine, and a delightful campfire.

This wedding signifies so much of 2020 to me in the best kind of way. That at end of the day, even when nothing goes as originally planned, the wedding is about the love between the two of you and that’s what matters the most. Amazing company, conversation, and adventures with these two. Thank you for having us, friends!!

Today was supposed to be a beautiful wedding day for two very wonderful people. It was the kick off to an amazing spring wedding season in Zion that we were so looking forward to!
I miss weddings. I miss this view.
But I know they aren’t going anywhere! And @_hamblin_ this spot will be waiting for you guys when all of this passes.
Sending you so much love today. Joey and I can’t wait until we get to share some whiskey and adventures with you guys under this beautiful desert sky.
