This post is about FOOD and LOVE!!!! Two things that I hold so so deeply in my heart, that humanity cannot continue without, that give my life its meaning and purpose! If you know me at all, you know that the vehicle for my love and affection is cooking and feeding others. I feel so fortunate that 2026 greeted me with kind eyes and has only pushed me further and higher out of my comfort zone and toward an existence that feels fulfilling, generous, expansive, and affirming 🥰
Quick rundown:
1) capturing a long-awaited espresso tonic on a cookbook shoot
2) a homey breakfast/lunch for my beloved
3) the last dill monkfish I’ll ever see which perfectly signifies the end of my tenure at this job
4) delicious fats I stored up through the winter 😅
5) seared savoy mmm so nutty so frilly
6) like daughter like mother, seeing my mom drying orange peels for tea, realizing where I subconsciously got that habit from
7) box of lemongrass. Much knife sharpening was done after.
8) when your friend surprised you with a whole ass omakase platter!!!!
9) trying to not be too hard on myself ◡̈
10) my talented beautiful dear soul sibling and their raspberry mead!!!!!
11) soft launch ◡̈ encouraged to act on my intrusive thought of blending pecorino with broccolini into a sauce for a sausage and broccolini mafaldine situation 🥰
12) feelin loved by the lime leaf
13) receiving love from @darlingcambridge and the most insane fillet o’ fish bao creation
14) various stages of eggsanity and minor injury in the name of food
15) canned beef I guess?
16) CRONCHY chicken and eggplant katsu Japanese curry with my fav yamitsuki cabbage and my fav cabbage man
17) more crunchy, this time seafood! Not pictured, Dr. McG
18) more seafood, rustically prepared with love 💗
19) so much love went into this chicken pot pie, I cannot begin to explain :’)
20) full monkey mode drinking seltzer from a post-LNY pomelo half peel 🧧

Despite the horrors of the world, we must find little joys to bring us community and comfort. Ideally both ❤️‍🔥

We’re doing it again folks! Pies round 2 with the most popular flavors from our last sale! Introducing a few new savory side dishes to save you from the holiday cooking stress.

Thanks to everyone, we were able to donate $250 to the @gr8bosfoodbank from our last sale!!! We’re gonna keep it going and donate 15% of proceeds from this sale too.

BFF’s it’s time to Spill the ICE-Tea! 🚨🫖

In light of the increasing ICE activity in MA, we want to support our communities who are at risk. In lieu of an event, we are hosting a tea-themed bake sale to fundraise for a MA based immigrant justice organization: LUCE!

@luce_hotline is a grassroots group that provides a hotline for reporting ICE activity, and offers support and legal aid. LUCE also mobilizes community members to fight against detention, deportation, and criminalization.

We want you to spill the tea 🫖See🧊?? Call 617-370-5023 to report!

Our TEA themed sale includes sweet & savory bakes, small-batch jams, spreads, tea infused liqueurs and milk punch. Available for pick-up and delivery (upon request). Orders close Sunday @ midnight.

✨🀄️Wanna learn to play Mahjong and Chinese checkers with us?🀄️✨

In honor of AAPI month, BFF is hosting a Mahjong Parlor on Tuesday, 5/27 from 7-10pm!!! We’ll have games, snacks, drinks, and a silent auction to raise money for a Boston-based queer AAPI organization MAP for Health!

@map4health was founded in 1993 in response to the lack of culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV/AIDS prevention services for the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community.
🀄️
Games include mahjong and chinese checkers! If you’ve never played, we’ll share some tips and have game guides!
This event will be a casual, rolling entrance party with concessions served counter style.

$10 entrance + menu preorder, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to MAP for Health.

Spots are limited, so act fast! This event will be hosted near Magoun Square, doors @ 7pm

The Big Friendly Feast is excited to announce our first sit down meal!

We are hosting a multi-course meal in celebration of Spring AND April Fool’s Day, our very own Big Foolish Feast 🌸🌷🤪
