$About one week before Jamboree, Jasiah got an avulsion fracture in his index finger & catching was out of the question so he missed the first three two games of the season. His first game back he started & has 3 REC, 1 TD (and one that was called back). He was so excited to be back on the field with his team and I was so proud to see him pick back up right where he left off last season. So proud of him! by @_m.ene_$

#LP because life has been nonstop for the last four weeks
Annual camping trip, and our first one without our teenage/YN entourage & to be honest we missed their presence more than I expected. I know it’s part of them growing up, but we missed them still. Despite A’leiah & her BS 😑🤦🏽‍♀️ IFYKYK we had a good time & are looking forward to another trip in November. It poured the first day/night & we ended up sleeping in the back of our Tahoe, but the weather was amazing after that! Ekiah was in Heaven (as long as he could change his clothes whenever something got on them & wash his hands), A’leiah needs to get her life together in the next few months 💀💀 taken in Collins Lake by @_m.ene_

First college game in the books for @hurricane_zay5_ . In the days leading up to it, I could sense his nerves. When we picked up our rental, it was a Dodge Ram Hurricane 1500. I instantly knew that was a sign. It meant so much to me & @raymond_f_ene to be there in person. The fact he had a solid first game was just the cherry on top. When he came out of the tunnel after his game, he just smirked & shook his head with the same shy/sneaky smile he’s had since he was a baby. In typical Zay fashion, the first thing out of his mouth was that he should’ve done better on special teams. So I know he’s right back to work fine tuning & preparing to do whatever is asked of him. He finished with 3 car, 44yds, 1 TD by @_m.ene_

@raymond_f_ene & I have spent the last 13 years watching @hurricane_zay5_ sacrifice & dedicate himself to football. COUNTLESS hours spent with @gamefitsac & @carloswilsonsr working on the details. YEARS of film & necessary discussions with Dad. I remember the days we used to pray for this to come. It was all worth it! What a blessing to be able to see him experience playing at the college level 🙏🏽 First college game ever on Saturday. Proud is an understatement 🥹 by @_m.ene_

🥹🥹🥹 I can count on one hand the number of times we said No when our kids have asked for their friends to be over. And even then, their cousins are exempt. The way we miss overhearing their ridiculous arguments, laughter, wrestling; coming downstairs and barely able to walk through the hall because there are so many shoes that don’t live here, the random grocery trips so we make sure we make enough dinner/breakfast or they have enough snacks to survive the night or them snitching on each other the next morning 😂😂😂 I hope they always remember the door is open whenever they need it to be. by @_m.ene_
