Seeing you succeed in your craft fuels me.

I’m so honored to be the first of many to see a Mo Holmes original on the stage. Y’all better watch out!

May was filled with muses! 🎭🎨🖼️❤️‍🔥

Art making is sacred. 🙂‍↕️

I am thinking a lot about what it looks like to cause creative disruptions within our arts market economy that reimagines our natural world expressions as a new system. A gift economy with reciprocity ethics at its core. “Where wealth comes from the quality of relationships, not the illusion of self sufficiency”, Serviceberry.

Come over to my house and cut paper, make zines, write plans, write plays, share meals, do collage, dig in my dirt, make music, grow vegetables, share ideas, make clothes. This is how we 🤺🥊 the technocrats. by @_mandemonium_

Casting a protection spell for the new year 🔮✨

2025 I healed the deepest wounds and made room for more. The year of the snake did prove to shed old skin. The snake in fact eats itself and it seems as if we will never learn from past atrocities. That the meaning of all of this is to eat or be eaten. That this is all a vicious cycle of resources hoarding and any one of us will descend into madness when we start to run out. This year was a year of nightmares and there is only more to behold if you believe my postcolonial astrologer.

I never set resolutions— because I hate commitment and feel guilty when I don’t stick to my plans. (Also sybau we’re keeping the em dash). But this year, I knew that in order to make it years ahead, I had to build a strong community. It has been whiplash of one evil after the other but there was so much joy and communion along the way. I wasn’t even able to fit all my good memories into a 20 photo post!!!

Despite living through possibly the worst political crisis in my living memory which seems to be repeating the same horrors of oppression my ancestors barely survived, I accomplished major goals and growth. I made arts, I made friends, I saved friends, I spent time, I learned languages, I learned new skills, I played new games. I did things I thought I’d never do again. All thanks to my community and the village I’ve been gifted.

I’m not hopeful or positive for 2026. But, now I’ve proven that nothing can break my soul, nothing can steal my joy, and nothing is going to stop me from living out loud.

Love love love you, my beautiful neighbors! by @_mandemonium_
