Happy 10 year Anniversary to us 🥂🥹 That “try” turned into 10 years of marriage, two babies, growing up together, building a life and businesses together, walking through some of our hardest seasons side by side and getting to experience some of the most beautiful ones together too.

What a blessing it is to have someone to do life with. Someone who has known so many versions of you and somehow gets to witness you become every version that comes next. To have someone beside you for the dreams you talked about before they ever happened, the prayers you watched get answered, the seasons that changed you, the moments that broke you, the ones that put you back together and all the regular everyday life in between. Thank God I tried. 🥹😜

I said yes to us then, I’d say yes to us now. @_marcusvalentine_ I’m having the time of my life & I can’t wait to walk down the aisle to you all over again. ❤️🥳

One day, these park dates, diaper runs and little “picnics” in the trunk will be the memories we miss the most. It’s easy to wait for the vacations and big milestones, but life is happening right here in the in-between.

Happy 4th Birthday Mali. 🥳 It’s hard to believe we’ve been your parents for four years already. You’ve brought so much laughter, energy, chaos, personality, and joy into our lives. Every day with you is an adventure.

Being your mom has stretched me, humbled me, taught me, healed me and given me some of the best moments of my life. Watching you grow into the funny, smart, loving, sweet & sometimes sour 😅 kid you are today has been the greatest gift. We are so proud of the little boy you’re becoming.

We love you more than you’ll understand for a very long time. Thank you for being my miracle baby. I’m so thankful God chose me to be your mama 🥹😘

Happy Birthday to my love, my best friend, my safe place. Every day I get to do life with you feels like a gift from God. Looking at these videos, we were just two kids in love. Life hit us so fast, so young… but in sickness and in health, we meant that. What we share is rare, and I don’t take a moment of it for granted.

Since the day we met in 2014, you’ve been rewriting what love looks like for me. You’ve saved my life in more ways than one and created a world where I feel seen, cherished, and deeply loved. You are the most beautiful, selfless person. I am so honored to have you as the leader and protector of our home. You’re a true blessing to everyone you touch. I can’t imagine my life without you.

Thank you for choosing me again and again, and for building this beautiful, sacred life with me and the boys. I love you beyond what words can hold.

I realized we never gave y’all a full recap of our Disney trip 🥹 Truth is… I was DEEP in postpartum. With a one month old, running on 3–4 hours of sleep a night… I still can’t believe we even got on that plane lol. We had over an hour of footage but here is the 2 minute version 😭

I was SO nervous traveling with the boys, especially a one month old… but we wanted Mali to have this experience. All he wanted was to hug his boy 🥹 What made it even more special was watching over 25 Million people on the internet come together for a 3 year old. Within 48 hours, Disney reached out… and by that weekend, we were on a flight ✈️

That video did more than go viral.
It made people feel something. Joy. Hope. Nostalgia. It made people smile, cry,
reflect… People said it gave them permission to hope again, to believe something good could actually happen for them too.

This video was on every news station in the country lol so many opportunities came in… from live talk shows to interviews, and as much fun as it would have been, we had to protect that moment and remind people he’s only 3 🥹 We know he’s a star and he has forever to shine.

Since the trip, he wakes up every day asking to go back to Disney like we can just pack up and go 😂 Good thing is that his birthday is in 3 weeks… Of course he wants a Mickey party & he’s requesting his boy to be there 😅

So now I’m calling all his internet Aunties & Uncles to the party planning committee!! Turn on your post notifications… we planning this one together ❤️🥳

Pain doesn’t cancel the promise. This week, 6 years ago I was preparing to ring the bell… to be cancer free. My only prayer was to survive. And now here we are. Thriving. He’s still working. Still faithful. Still writing a better ending than I could’ve imagined. 🥲❤️

I can’t believe I’m dressing two little boys this year 🥹 I made their outfits… how did I do?

Kicking Black History Month off with a dose of Black love 🖤

Husband and I had the best time at the Relationship Goals screening. There’s nothing like seeing Black stories, Black relationships, and Black love celebrated so beautifully.

Not only did we get to watch the film, but we also got to be in the room with so many beautiful people, sharing such a special experience together. 🥰
