this week was SO HUGE for me.

this time last year my back, among other things, was in excruciating pain. i couldn’t do anything. because of this i couldn’t twist, bend, sit, so much so my mom said she was going to buy me a roller backpack because i couldn’t so much as carry a backpack with a laptop in it. (thankfully avoided that hahah) i seriously questioned if i would ever get back to do the things i loved again.

BUT this week we backpacked not once but twice in the same week + big miles in between. for the first time in years my body was sore because of what i had just accomplished instead of being in crippling pain.

ACTUAL PURE JOY I SWEAR!

so much good so much to be thankful for. God is so good, our bodies are SO GREAT, to be sore is a privilege & to get out is just the best thing ever.

I am going to start talking more about chronic pain & health & wellness! I LOVE THE BRAIN, health, & neuroscience. more to come here @thewellnessreshift by @_maryfreed
