🏊‍♂️ Well, this should be interesting!

I’m tackling 9km in the pool this November to raise money for breast cancer research. No Olympic swimmer here, but it’s for a great cause.

First swim done today, 12 laps down, 168 to go!

I’ve set myself a $500 fundraising goal, so any support along the way would be hugely appreciated! Link my bio. by @_matt_bernard

Final stop, Tooraweenah.

A last-minute call to stretch the trip out one more day for Tunes at Toora, part of @underthegumsgilgandra . Live music in the park, market stalls, kids on the playground and a very easy afternoon.

We stayed at the @tooraweenah_caravan_park too - quirky, cool and full of character.

After meeting Phil from @emu.logic.farm at the tunes, we headed out to his emu farm for an epic tour, hand-feeding the emus and checking out the chicks.

Pretty bloody good way to wrap up the trip.

@underthegumsgilgandra absolutely turned it on.

Camped up at the showground with some great mates, sunshine all weekend, the street parade, friendly pubs and epic live music both in town and at the concert.

Watermelon eating comp, the kids giving the coo-ee comp a proper crack and plenty of laughs along the way.

Bloody fun weekend in Gilgandra.

Rolled out of Charlotte Plains with emus running beside the road and pulled up at @mulgacreekhotel for the night.

A proper little outback overnighter. Good feed, easy camping, cheap as chips and plenty of character.

Next stop, Gilgandra for the Under The Gums festival.

Charlotte Plains. What a bloody place.

Artesian bore baths in the middle of the Queensland outback, unreal sunsets, sunrise soaks, live music and the kids burning fuel all day.

This is the good stuff.

Stop 3 - @visitcunnamulla.

Mandatory stop at the Cunnamulla Fella, Treen was in heaven at the @cunnamullahotsprings and the @warregoriversidetouristpark is an absolute beauty of a van park.

Road trains at sunset, a ripper feed and proper country hospitality.

The girls were waving to every truck that rolled through before one stopped and gave them a calendar.

Staying at the @hebelhotel has always been on the bucket list. Such a cool little stop on the trip.

On the road for Caravan World.

First up, Lightning Ridge. What a place.

Happy 11 years, KB. My hot wife and best mate. Pretty bloody lucky to be doing life with you. Here’s to plenty more adventures. by @_matt_bernard

Happy 9th Birthday to our big princess. Full of adventure, laughs and a certified cheeseburger connoisseur.

What a way to finish your birthday - blowing out your candles at sunset in Lightning Ridge. So damn proud of you, Ev. ❤️ by @_matt_bernard

Tried to find an excuse to post this photo of two of my loves.

Decided I didn’t need one. 😉 by @_matt_bernard
