On Monday, when I listened to this voice note, all I could think was, “Not again.”

And I had to sit with that thought for a while.

Why on earth is this a recurring issue?

As I sat in the backseat of the car, I realised something: EFFORT.

Putting effort into friendships can be a lot sometimes, especially when you have work, ministry, responsibilities, and everything else that life demands.

I've also had this mindset that even if I don't communicate all the time or check in constantly, we should be fine. Surely, the friendship should still be okay?

But then there are certain situations where communication requires more than just checking in. It requires uncomfortable conversations. It requires explaining yourself. It requires saying things you would rather leave unsaid.

And I realised that sometimes, I shy away from those conversations because I don't like being uncomfortable.

I like my comfort.

Sometimes, I find safety in the comfort of silence.

If I don't say it, I don't have to deal with the discomfort of the conversation. If I leave it alone, maybe it will pass. Maybe it isn't that serious. Maybe the conversation isn't even necessary.

But maybe that's the problem.

Avoiding discomfort doesn't make the issue disappear. It only makes me comfortable with a pattern I know I need to change. by @_misspurity_

I've been complaining in my head (my coping mechanism whenever things don't go my way), decided to think deeply about why I was complaining, found my answer, got my peace and decided to write after months of being a lazy person.

Anyways enjoyyyy.🤭

Yesterday was my birthday. 🎉🤍

I've been so intentional about this birthday since the beginning of the month, and my theme for this new year is #TheWinningYear.

Looking back, I can confidently say God has been so good to me. This year has been filled with victory after victory, grace upon grace, and countless reminders of His faithfulness. Truly, I've been winning back to back, and I know it's only by His hand.

So, here's to another year of purpose, growth, impact, and even greater victories.

What a journey it has been. 💛

From our Thanksgiving Celebration to Club Awareness Week, Jesus Must Be Seen Week, and finally our Word Feast, Club Festival has been a beautiful reminder that church is more than an event, it's family.

Yes, there was healthy competition, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Talents were discovered, gifts were expressed, friendships were strengthened, and bonds were formed. Beyond the points and the prizes, we were reminded that we are one body in Christ, united by one faith and one purpose.

Here's to the memories we made, the lives that were impacted, and all that God did in our midst. May what He started in us continue to bear fruit long after Club Fest has ended.

📖 Demystifying The Word | Ephesians 4

As we continue our journey through Ephesians, we move from understanding who we are in Christ to learning how we are called to live.

Ephesians 4 reminds us that our new identity should be reflected in our daily lives. We are called to walk in humility, gentleness, patience, and love, preserving the unity of the body of Christ.

This chapter also teaches us that God has given each of us unique gifts not for our own glory, but to build up His Church and strengthen one another. As we grow in Christ, we are called to put off our old way of life and be renewed in our minds, becoming more like Jesus every day.

Following Christ is more than knowing the truth; it is allowing that truth to transform the way we think, speak, and live.

📖 Demystifying The Word | Ephesians 3

As we continue our journey through Ephesians, we encounter one of the most beautiful truths of the gospel: God's family is open to all, and His love is beyond human understanding.

Ephesians 3 reveals God's heart to bring people together in Christ, regardless of their background, status, or story. Through Jesus, we are invited into one family, united by grace and bound together by His love.

Paul's prayer in this chapter is that we would grasp how wide, how long, how high, and how deep the love of Christ truly is a love that surpasses knowledge and transforms lives.

This chapter also reminds us that the God we serve is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or imagine. Even when we cannot see the full picture, we can trust the One who holds it all together.
