I had the privilege of speaking at a conference themed EMERGE.

When I think of EMERGE, I think of people with brilliant ideas, strong potential, and so much to offer… yet still waiting. Waiting to feel ready. Waiting for the “perfect” moment, platform, or audience.

But growth doesn’t work that way.

Many want to emerge today and become influential overnight 😅—but there’s a process between where you are and where you’re called to be:

Concealed. Consistent. Credible. Visible.

Each stage matters.

You don’t have to wait until you feel ready.
You don’t have to hide behind reasonable excuses.
You just have to keep showing up—and trust God to make your efforts significant.

This is your wake-up call.

EMERGE.

Today's word at Church was so powerful. My soul was blessed.
We dove deep into the intersection of purpose, passion, and the practicalities of life, balancing the call of God with the reality of money and bills.

See, there's a balance to this thing. We can love God and still do other things right. Anywayyy, these were the major keys and highlights that gave me a new perspective today:
* Mindset is the First Territory: The world cannot dictate limitations for a believer because freedom begins in the mind. Once you have that "freedom" mindset, elevation becomes possible.

* The Manufacturer’s Manual: You cannot know the purpose of a thing without asking the Manufacturer. To find your purpose outside of God is a deception. The Bible is your manufacturer's manual.

* Identify the Pointer: Your skills and talents are pointers to your purpose, but they may not exactly be "IT". Often, whatever you are angry against is a pointer to a problem you are specifically called to solve.

* The Transition Trap: We must understand our transitions carefully and manage the "bend" (like how there are bends in relay races, how well you bend determines how well you finish the race).

* Do not stay where God has already moved on from or try to build a permanent tabernacle on a mountain meant for a season.

And finally, one thing that really stood out for me was when Pastor Tobi Sanusi said that if David had made music an idol, he would have stayed a musician and never have become a King. If he had made being a shepherd an idol, he would not have been able to defeat Goliath.

You must understand your transitions. God can work in you through different ways and different mediums, but you must be able to recognize when He is telling you to move on from a place you no longer belong.

It doesn't take faith to see God work in a way you are familiar with. But it does take faith to see HIM do something HE has never done before.
Don't be overfamiliar with the Lord. Don't assume you KNOW Him. Learn oo.

Don't let your current success or your favorite skill become an idol that keeps you from your kingdom. Allow God to transition you however He pleases.
