I’ve spent time in galleries, museums, and conversations with artists lately, and one thing keeps coming up quietly.

The art is powerful.
The stories are not always reaching the people they deserve to.

Too often, exhibitions are explained, but not felt.
Artists are shown, but not always understood.
Spaces are beautiful, but sometimes intimidating to those who want to enter.

This isn’t a critique of the work.
It’s an observation about connection.

I’m deeply interested in how we translate intention into meaning, and how storytelling can help art live beyond the walls of an exhibition into memory, conversation, and culture.

This is the work I’m committing to:
Helping art spaces, artists, and institutions shape narratives that are human, accessible, and culturally grounded without diluting the integrity of the work itself.

If you are a curator, artist, gallery, or museum thinking about how your work is experienced, remembered, and carried forward, I’d love to be part of that conversation.

Art already speaks.
Sometimes it just needs the right language.

There’s something interesting about an artist taking a concept as familiar as the seven deadly sins and making you see them in your everyday life.

Isn’t Life a Playground? By Timilehin Faseyi turns the gallery into more than a space to admire beautiful works. He creates moments that make you pause, question your habits, and sometimes even catch yourself in the work.

What I particularly appreciate about Timilehin’s approach is how he takes ideas we often encounter as abstract or distant and brings them into the world we actually live in, our relationships, our ambitions, our frustrations, our comparisons, our communities, and even the things we keep putting off.

The works don’t simply ask, “Do you know the seven deadly sins?”

They quietly ask:

“Can you recognise them in yourself?”

And perhaps that’s where the real playground is not in getting everything right, but in becoming more aware of how we move through life.

A reminder that sometimes, art doesn’t need to give you an answer.

Sometimes, it just needs to make you look at yourself a little differently.

There’s a certain kind of strength that comes with being the first daughter.

You learn to be responsible before you’re ready.
You become the one who remembers, checks in, helps out, sets the example and somehow knows what to do… even when you’re quietly figuring it out too.

You grow up hearing, “You’re the eldest,” and sometimes that sentence feels like both a compliment and a responsibility.

But beneath the strong girl, the dependable sister, the second mum… is just a girl who wants to be cared for too. To make mistakes. To be soft. To not always have the answers.

So, to every first daughter:
I hope you know you’re allowed to put the weight down sometimes. You don’t always have to have it together.
