Dear 2025,

Thank you for 12 consecutive months of growth and impact—months that challenged me, expanded my horizons, and pushed me to step boldly into my purpose. A year filled with new responsibilities, meaningful achievements, and transformative experiences that shaped not only my journey but also the vessel I am becoming. I am grateful for every opportunity that has stretched my faith, sharpened my character, and strengthened my commitment to serving, leading, and inspiring others. With faith, I step into 2026 with confidence, knowing it is already in God’s hands.

Sincerely Yours,

BE THE ONES — To foster healthier communities, bridge civic information gaps, and cultivate accessible, inclusive participation in education, healthcare, and voter access.

During last Saturday’s Young Leaders Summit, hosted by @letsbetheones, I experienced the power of young leaders coming together to network, advocate, and use our voices to create meaningful change alongside fellow Claflin leaders, I’Yunla Huell and Tymaine Holt. 🧡

Remember, the future is impacted by what you do NOW. Be educated. Advocate. Represent. BE THE JOY. BE THE LOVE. BE THE NOISE. BE THE ONES!

Young voters have a lot to say and deserve spaces where they’re heard.

Last weekend, we joined @letsbetheones in Charleston for the South Carolina Young Leaders Summit and spent time with students from across the state to learn what matters to them.

Young voters shouldn’t just be part of the conversation. Their voices should help shape it. 💜

Father, I thank You. 🤲🏾

Thank You for the ability to choose my path while trusting You to direct my steps. Thank You for allowing me to experience the things within the life I live. Thank You for giving me the discernment to showcase gratitude instead of greed.

Thank You for blessing me with a village that supports me and encourages me to walk out the dreams I pursue by faith. Thank You for allowing me to be a steward of the resources, connections, and knowledge You have entrusted to me.

Thank You for the generations that came before me, so that I can walk in confidence knowing that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank You that as I ask, I receive; as I seek, I find; and as I knock, the door is opened.

Thank You for protecting me from wants, needs, conversations, and people that could have harmed me. Thank You for building me where I am weak and restoring me where I am torn.

Thank You for being my Father, my Provider, and my forevermore.

May I continue to give You all the honor, glory, and praise through my works as I wake and walk with You each and every day.

In Jesus’ name, I pray and give thanks. Amen. taken in Claflin University by @_mr.burnette

Giving people their flowers doesn’t always have to look like a bouquet. Sometimes it’s a word of encouragement, a handwritten note, a simple “thank you,” showing up when it matters, or letting someone know the impact they’ve had on your life.

As I prepare to begin my second year of college, I’ve been reflecting on how important it is to appreciate the present. So often we’re focused on what’s next that we forget we’re living in prayers we’ve prayed ourselves and prayers others have prayed on our behalf. Every opportunity, every relationship, and every blessing is a reminder that stewardship matters. How we care for what God has already entrusted to us often shapes what He can trust us with next.

I’ve also realized that our journey is never just about us. Someone is watching how we lead, how we serve, how we persevere, and how we love others. Your life may be the encouragement someone else needs to keep going.

“With Intention, I Empower Others and By Example, I Lead” 🏆

From serving as Youth Council President to being named Scholar of the Year, entering Years 10 and 11, watching a new chapter take flight, being entrusted as Head Mentor for PSRA, and now serving as Intern of the CEO, every season has reminded me that God’s plan is always greater than my own.

Successteam has not only continuously transformed my life, but it has also been a blessing to witness that same impact in the lives of so many others. I have seen firsthand how God protects, provides for, and multiplies the work of those who faithfully serve His Kingdom.
Here’s to Year 11 and all that is still to come. To everyone who has been a part of this journey, thank you for leading, serving, and growing together.

Successteam, thank you for two years! 💐 taken in Successteam by @_mr.burnette
