Nadishana "Cantus Ferreus"
One more song is ready for my album "Relict"! Please enjoy and share :) This composition represents my love for uncommon scales and key changes. The instrument which is featured in the solo is double sider Yishama. Before making it, Yhonatan called me 3 times to be sure i want him to make this scale, because he believed i made a mistake 😄 So since then i call it "Mistake scale". Check how wonderfully unresolved and full of tensions this scale is 😍

Nadishana - handpans (Ayasa, JBPan, Yishama), sound microsurgery, arrangement, percussion

The old video which wasn't posted to instagram.
Nadishana - dzuddahord
David Kuckhermann - udu, cajon
Armin Metz - 6-string fretless bass

Filmed by Julia Surba

Dzuddahord is a blend of guitar, mandola and sitar. It has 11 additional symphatetic strings (taraff) which are also possible to play as a 'harp'

Nadishana "Crossing Points"

I was lucky to visit Mezmay last summer and its amazing nature completely blew me away! So i decided to film a music video there and we took all equipment and instruments to the beautiful arduous places hidden up in the mountains. Unforgettable experience!

Filmed in Mezmay, RU, Aug 2021
Filming: Ilja Negrook

Proud to present you this new sound model: JASMINE.

This enchanting handpan scale has been designed to offer the player an incredible variety of nuances. It is a dreamy and evocative E Lydian scale, yet the Jasmine is incredibly easy to play. It immediately reveals itself as a G♯ minor scale and can also be played easily as a major scale.
Like water flowing down a gentle hillside, this scale transforms into whatever you want it to be, without resistance. The player can effortlessly move from a modal sound to a minor or major tonality without any effort. Evocative at first, then meditative and sweet, the scale ultimately unfolds into a bright and uplifting major pentatonic.
Five notes, like the five petals of this fragrant flower, carry a special meaning in many cultures around the world.
Played by Master Nadishana.
