Are you kidding??? A blush named NINA after me??!! 🥹

What an unexpected, incredibly thoughtful, and lovely 60th birthday surprise from @thrivecausemetics! 🫶

Dear @karissabodnar and the Thrive Causemetics Family,

Your beautiful note and thoughtful words brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart with gratitude. To have my story recognized in this way is an incredible honor. But to have the NINA Triple Threat Blush Stick named after me—in the Rosy Plum shade—is something I never could have imagined.

What makes it even more meaningful is the message behind it: that we can continue to grow, evolve, serve, and shine at every stage of life.

I’ve come to believe that the unexpected chapters of our lives often carry a purpose we may not recognize at first. Sometimes, simply sharing a little of our journey can encourage someone else to see new possibilities for their own. If something we’ve experienced gives another person the courage to dream a little bigger, take a chance on themselves, or believe that there is still something extraordinary ahead—that is a wonderful gift.

At 60, I’m especially grateful to be living what I call my ENCORE CAREER —a chapter that looks very different from the one I imagined earlier in life, but one that has brought new opportunities to model, teach, advocate, volunteer, create, and inspire.

Thank you for seeing me not simply as a model, but as a woman, educator, advocate, volunteer, and someone who believes that aging is a gift—and that some of our most magical chapters may still be ahead of us.

I will cherish this honor and the meaning behind it. And every time I wear NINA, I’ll be reminded of the incredible women who continue to redefine what it means to thrive, evolve, and embrace their next chapter. 💚🩵

Thank you, Karissa and Thrive Causemetics, for giving my name a beautiful new shade of meaning. 🌹🙏

Here’s to the ENCORE. 🦢
