I’m so sorry I’ve been keeping secrets from you! But I’m excited to finally say that this past month I have been commissioned by @thrivecausemetics to help launch their brand new blush collection! Each shade was inspired by an amazing woman and I had the pleasure to paint them each a portrait using their blush color! Kaisa - Dusty Rose🩰 Mackenzie - Soft Coral 🪸 Allison - Bright Pink Petal🌷 Dionne - Brick red 🌺 Nina - Rosy Plum 🪻 This was such a fun and challenging project to incorporate blush into paint and now I can’t wait to try them in new makeup looks!🤩 #thrivecausemetics #portraitart #commissionart #artcollector #brandcollaboration Being completely transparent, I was challenged to paint all of these images in ONE week to be able to ship them safely in time. And for those who don’t know, oil paint does not dry in one week!😅 Even though I was a little stressed, it forced me to try different techniques and mediums to speed up the process. And how cool is it that I also got to learn how to mix blush into an oil painting! What?!🤩 So how did I do that? Well…yall know about underpaintings…I used a thin mixture of blush into acrylic paint since they are compatible and basically did a rough sketch of each portrait in the shades of the blush. I locked the layer in with a transparent acrylic medium so that way it would be safe to go over with the oils! The Paint🤌🏻🎨 The studio lighting for this day..😱🤩 @kaisafit - Dusty Rose🩰 My favorite little detail out of all the paintings was Kaisa’s Jewelry!☀️ Never thought my set up would look like this💗 It’s so satisfying seeing them all together! Such a surreal moment receiving this package🥹💗 I am forever so grateful for this opportunity! Allison - Bright Pink Petal🌷 Also why do all my paintings photograph better on the floor🙈😂 @mackenzienhughes -Soft Coral 🪸 There are few who can pull off this color and Mackenzie rocks it🤌🏻😆 Let me tell yall…on top of blow drying, and using speed-drying mix-ins…I had the windows open, fan goin, the dehumidifier runnin…there was not a lick of moisture in that air😂 These paintings were gonna dry on time😤 Before I absolutely destroyed my studio😃

Woolfolk Fall 2026 This fall, we traveled to Santa Fe to introduce our newest collection—designs shaped by texture, color, and the quiet beauty of the high desert. Warm earth tones, weathered neutrals, and deep, saturated hues come together in a considered collection made for the changing season and the slower days ahead. A special thank you to Nina @_ninacash_ and Dani @dani_laindear for flying to Santa Fe and bringing these designs to life with us. It was such a joy to have you both there and to see the collection come together against the beauty of the America south west. Meet Datura and Tamarisk designed by Veta Romanenkova @veta_velveta and Viga from WDT. And, as always, a heartfelt thank you to our incredible testers. Your time, care, and thoughtful feedback bring every Woolfolk pattern to life. We truly couldn’t do it without you. #wearwoolfolk #woolfolk_yarn
