There was a season between December and January that was extremely difficult for me. I was low in a way I could not properly explain. I hate to admit it but I think I was almost depressed. (I say almost because one time I was sitting in my home and I heard the word depression. So I stood up and rebuked it). And that was when I knew it was time to step away.
‎
‎But after I left, a different battle began.
‎The battle of comparison and the subtle regret of why I didn't just stay because of what felt like the benefits I was getting- the financial stability, the sense that at least I was doing something. It started to look like maybe staying would have been wiser.
‎
‎While pondering over these thoughts, a scenario in the scriptures came to my heart. In the Book of Exodus, after the Israelites were delivered from Egypt, they entered the wilderness. When hunger and discomfort set in, they said: “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill” — Exodus 16:3

‎They began to wish they had never left Egypt. The Egypt they cried to God to rescue them from.
‎Why? They were hungry. The journey was uncertain. The benefits they remembered; food, shelter, routine, familiarity suddenly looked attractive.

‎And I saw myself in them.
‎I was beginning to long for that same place where I was clearly struggling simply because of the seemingly rewards. But that reassurance was not worth my peace. It was not worth what God was building in me.
‎
‎The wilderness did not mean God made a mistake. In Book of Exodus 16, He sent manna from heaven. In chapter 17, He brought water out of a rock at Rephidim.
‎He had it all planned out!
‎
‎May we never get to the point where we blame God for bringing us out of something unhealthy simply because the next season feels uncertain.
‎May we trust Him in the middle.
‎May we trust that manna will fall.
‎May we trust that water will come out of dry places.
‎
‎Egypt had all the goodies but it was still bondage.
‎Hold on, the promise is ahead. 🤍 by @_omo.bee_

It’s the final hours of January 31st and in just a few moments, a new month begins.
While there’s excitement about how swiftly 2026 is unfolding, I can’t help but look back at how December and January stretched me beyond words. They tested my patience, drained my strength and at moments made me question myself.

it was overwhelming. Circumstances piled on circumstances, situations followed situations, tears came in waves and i began to ask myself, when does it all end?

But most importantly, I survived.
Even when I nearly lost myself in the passing days, I am still here: standing, rising regaining my strength and holding firmly to my identity in Christ.

And that alone is victory.

February, I know for certain that you'll be better!

Here’s to renewed strength, peace of heart and joy that overflows. by @_omo.bee_

Ever since I first heard this song playing in the background of a church post, it instantly caught my attention. I couldn’t just scroll past and from that moment, I’ve not stopped listening to it!😭🎉

The prophetic declarations in this song? My goodness! 🔥 Each one resonates with me so much and I boldly speak them over my life.

✨ Many will see me and wonder
✨ Many will see me and fear the Lord!

I am a living testimony of what God can do. My life radiates His goodness, His mercy and His faithfulness. My path shines brighter and brighter, for the Lord has placed on me an ornament of grace and a crown of glory.

The mighty hand of God helps me continually. I serve Him joyfully, passionately and to the very end! 🙌🏽

The words I speak are spirit and life because the Spirit of God lives in me and I carry the very life of God within!
Hephzibah — the Lord delights in me! 💜

And on a lighter note 😄, I can literally point out every moment Min. Dunsin mentions “Asherrrr” in the song. It cracks me up every single time! 😂

This song has definitely got to be my favorite track on the album! 🎶💥💥 by @_omo.bee_
