TKL - 14.08.26
Not often you get the track to yourself for the whole day. Got to run reverse layout which was sick. Great day despite some torrential rain at lunch time. Cresta happily spun the Valino semis I put on the rear to fight the wet. Final drift day in Japan for big red, stoked I got to drive 4 different tracks in it when the original plan was to export it home straight away.

New Japan car! Simple t28 set up that’ll stay that way for reliability. First time driving it was at Meihan C course. Definitely a little intimidating at first but shakedown went well, no real issues but definitely some things to change. 4.9 diff going in currently and a re-tune soon. Keen to be back in November to drive it again! Thank you to @tweed_autogarage for all the assistance with the car

Kinda forgot to post the Japan trip last year. Starting off with Suzuka track day! Awesome track, blew through tyres way too quickly so only did 2hrs of driving. Sick day nonetheless!
Special thanks to @taped_tv for coming out and getting some cool footage ❤️

Two pairs of chromies resized for @_only.dans

Both the VSKFs and Minveras were 3p sealed converted with blind hardware added to the KFs and all wheels upsized to graded m7 hardware.

It's not always necessary to convert these wheels to a sealed 3p, however it makes it hell of a lot easier/cheaper to change lips in future. But as always if you're going to do it please do it properly!!

@cees_215cup was an awesome weekend! Big thanks to @krezmont for organising such a rad event (and letting me enter the comp last minute on the day). First time ever driving the 86 in a comp and only my second ever comp. The mighty gt86 surprised a few people with how well it went, myself included. Managed to win a few battles before being taken out by @junkstreet_ which landed me 5th place (I think). Was stoked with achieving that and didn’t expect it at all. Great driving by everyone out there and I’m keen to do it again next year. Once again the zn6 copped a 420km drive down, drifted the entire day (used less than 1 pair of tyres) then drove 420km back without an issue. No complaints here. Was great hanging with mates and catching up with ones I don’t see too often, cars are tops.
Thanks to @mr_pasito for the photos!
