One year in. Two clubs, two communities. One big birthday celebration, together.
During Way Out West week this Friday. One big sweaty club floor, one lush rooftop terrace. From 14:00 until late, proper sound systems, all day into the night.

Rooftop opens soft: ambient, fresh juice bar, food, tarot, a fluffy chill-out haven that will build as the evening comes in.

Beniwasta is a Stockholm-based DJ with a deep love for house music in all its forms—from dark, groovy deep and tech house to soulful garage, breakbeat, disco, and beyond.

She’s played everything from Boiler Room and Way Out West to underground warehouse parties, and has shared lineups with artists like Kerri Chandler, Bonobo, DJ Koze, and &ME. With a focus on flow rather than genre, every set is a journey through the sounds she loves most. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

A devoted record digger and underground curator, a skilled visionary DJ for those whose obsession goes beyond hobby, Ricardo has held a relentless pursuit to dance music and its timeless ritual.

Founder and creative mind behind ( ATM ) - Alternate Time Movements, Born and raised through the culturally thick lens of Chicago’s underground and now residing in Copenhagen, Denmark

Ricardo is known for playing out extended vinyl sets, showcasing a vast influence of rare,
sometimes unconventional records. Ranging from deeper mid to late 90’s deep house, Y2k era
breaks & progressive, downtempo, minimal, EBM, electro and tech house. Continuously blurring the lines between genres old and new, finding the common thread within the lost and forgotten yet timeless records, mixed into a new age sound. Sewn effortlessly into the right context with skill and precision, presented to dance floors in a symbiotic yet loose natured feeling. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

Johan Melin is one of the brains behind his favorite band Fontän, which has shaped a large part of the psychedelic music scene in Gothenburg.

In addition to being a member of Fountain, Johan has a whole repertoire of remixes and productions where he moves freely between musical expressions without compromising on expression. A beat with a steady groove always in focus and ambient debauchery mixed with percussion.

Rumor has it he recently started working with Virginia and the Flood, keep your eyes open. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

Electronic music producer, Börft Records affiliate and general sound geek M.Jupiter is bringing his machines down from Stockholm for a rare live set.

For more than a decade he’s been putting out raw, hardware-driven electronic music, with releases on Börft and käfTen among others. His sound lives somewhere between heavy machine rhythms, deep and slightly crooked house, acid excursions and whatever else happens once the machines get involved.

This Friday it’s all happening live. Expect heavy kicks, plenty of hardware and probably a curveball or two. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

Queer Gothenburg-based artist and producer Ployboy makes electronic music for a world somewhere between the dancefloor and a half-remembered PlayStation game.

Ethereal pads, frantic drum breaks, distorted vocals and skewed samples come together in something dreamy, sweaty and euphoric, with a healthy dose of early 2000s video game nostalgia running through it all.

Last year saw the release of his five-track EP Pellucid Armour, pushing his sound further into fast breaks, big emotions and beautifully warped electronics.Expect things to get sweaty. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

Stellar surfer and sound sculpting virtuoso Arkajo is already well known for his work in one-of-a-kind house duo Genius of Time. With his background in jazz composition, live performance and behind the scenes studio work, he is equal parts producer, musician, dj and technological wizard. A keen understanding of sound, rhythm and harmony is evident on his releases as well as in his dj sets, locking your body in rhythm and exploring distant vistas in your mind.

Tonight we are celebrating his upcoming release “Incandescence” on Aniara Recordings (Aniara36) with a Aniara Record Release party during the night on our club floor.

*We are closing membership applications for new members in our community in the next 2 hours and you surely don’t want to miss this so you better get to it‼️ taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

UK-born, Gothenburg-based artist and DJ Jamie Hudson has spent the past decade exploring the stranger edges of electronic music as a resident on NTS Radio.

Through his long-running Sendspaace project, Jamie moves freely across ambient, experimental electronics and the more abstract corners of club music. Behind the decks, things tend to get a little more physical.
Percussive, bass-heavy and decidedly leftfield, his club sets draw connections between sounds that don’t necessarily look like they belong together until they suddenly do.

A curious selector with little concern for genres behaving as they’re supposed to taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet

Up-and-coming Tvåstegsprogrammet regular Leil1n joins forces with Bangers & Mash regular Folke for what feels like a particularly natural pairing.

Relatively fresh behind the decks but already making moves, the two recently launched their own club night Såsette in Gothenburg, quickly earning themselves some very happy dancers.

Don’t let their relatively recent arrival fool you though. There’s plenty of dedication, curiosity and rapidly developing selector skills between these two.

Two cute nuggets incoming. Handle accordingly. taken in Way Out West by @_oraklet
