Stellar surfer and sound sculpting virtuoso Arkajo is already well known for his work in one-of-a-kind house duo Genius of Time. With his background in jazz composition, live performance and behind the scenes studio work, he is equal parts producer, musician, dj and technological wizard. A keen understanding of sound, rhythm and harmony is evident on his releases as well as in his dj sets, locking your body in rhythm and exploring distant vistas in your mind.

Tonight we are celebrating his upcoming release “Incandescence” on Aniara Recordings (Aniara36) with a Aniara Record Release party during the night on our club floor.

Anton Kristiansson aka Blä Värld is a rapper and ambient producer from Gothenburg. His sophomore album, NEW ÆGE, was released earlier this year on the Gothenburg-based label Svensk Sommar. His distinctive mix of rap, breakbeats and ambient soundscapes has previously put him on the radar of music and lifestyle publications such as NTS Radio, The Fader, Hypebeast, VICE Magazine and NOWNESS.

Electronic music producer, Börft Records affiliate and general sound geek M.Jupiter is bringing his machines down from Stockholm for a rare live set.

For more than a decade he’s been putting out raw, hardware-driven electronic music, with releases on Börft and käfTen among others. His sound lives somewhere between heavy machine rhythms, deep and slightly crooked house, acid excursions and whatever else happens once the machines get involved.

This Friday it’s all happening live. Expect heavy kicks, plenty of hardware and probably a curveball or two.

The “11-man army” Robin Fx with almost as many secretive projects under his wings as he has records. Kidding, he has a lot more records to be fair.

Multidisciplinary field operative and kind-spirited troublemaker behind Pluto, Tvåstegsprogrammet, various other club initiatives, schemes and unidentified operations around Gothenburg.

Robin started DJing relatively late, shortly after leaving Berlin, where he had just spent the better part of a decade not DJing.. Let’s just say that things have escalated since.

Rumor has it a record label is slowly taking shape somewhere on the Uppstuds together with Gothenburg based producer Christoffer Berg. 👀

Johan Melin is one of the brains behind his favorite band Fontän, which has shaped a large part of the psychedelic music scene in Gothenburg.

In addition to being a member of Fountain, Johan has a whole repertoire of remixes and productions where he moves freely between musical expressions without compromising on expression. A beat with a steady groove always in focus and ambient debauchery mixed with percussion.

Rumor has it he recently started working with Virginia and the Flood, keep your eyes open.

Queer Gothenburg-based artist and producer Ployboy makes electronic music for a world somewhere between the dancefloor and a half-remembered PlayStation game.

Ethereal pads, frantic drum breaks, distorted vocals and skewed samples come together in something dreamy, sweaty and euphoric, with a healthy dose of early 2000s video game nostalgia running through it all.

Last year saw the release of his five-track EP Pellucid Armour, pushing his sound further into fast breaks, big emotions and beautifully warped electronics.Expect things to get sweaty.

Beniwasta is a Stockholm-based DJ with a deep love for house music in all its forms—from dark, groovy deep and tech house to soulful garage, breakbeat, disco, and beyond.

She’s played everything from Boiler Room and Way Out West to underground warehouse parties, and has shared lineups with artists like Kerri Chandler, Bonobo, DJ Koze, and &ME. With a focus on flow rather than genre, every set is a journey through the sounds she loves most.

UK-born, Gothenburg-based artist and DJ Jamie Hudson has spent the past decade exploring the stranger edges of electronic music as a resident on NTS Radio.

Through his long-running Sendspaace project, Jamie moves freely across ambient, experimental electronics and the more abstract corners of club music. Behind the decks, things tend to get a little more physical.
Percussive, bass-heavy and decidedly leftfield, his club sets draw connections between sounds that don’t necessarily look like they belong together until they suddenly do.

A curious selector with little concern for genres behaving as they’re supposed to
