Plot:

Strange Houses follows a series of unsettling architectural mysteries, beginning with a seemingly ordinary house whose unusual layout raises some disturbing questions. As the investigation progresses, seemingly insignificant details begin to connect, revealing a mystery far stranger than it first appears.

Review:

This was such an intriguing read! It kept me hooked from the very beginning, and the concept itself was so unusual and fascinating. It's a short book, but it manages to create an atmosphere that is genuinely creepy and unsettling. I honestly couldn't stop thinking about it at night. It's been a while since a book made me feel this kind of fear, and I absolutely loved that about it.

The mystery was engaging, and I enjoyed watching the pieces come together as the story progressed. However, I did feel that some of the connections and deductions were a little too specific. I mean, how does one look at a floor plan and come up with such an elaborate, wild theory? At times, I found it a little hard to believe.

Despite that, I really enjoyed the experience. It's an unusual concept executed in a way that keeps you curious, makes you think, and leaves you feeling a little uneasy even after you've put the book down.

Plot:

As she uncovers long-buried secrets, she finds herself questioning established narratives about religion and history.

My Review:

The Shiv Link of Jesus by Natalia Suri Gupta is an intriguing mix of mystery, history, spirituality, and suspense. Its unusual premise makes it stand out, while the questions it raises about faith and historical connections keep the story thought-provoking. It's an interesting read for anyone who enjoys mysteries that go beyond simply solving a puzzle.

What I Liked:

- Unique premise: The exploration of possible connections between Hinduism and Christianity makes the story distinctive.
- Thought-provoking themes: It encourages readers to question familiar perspectives and consider alternative interpretations.
- Mystery and discovery: The hidden documents, symbols, and secrets add intrigue and keep the reader curious.

What I Didn't Like:

- Speculative theories: Some historical and religious connections may feel unconvincing to readers who prefer stronger evidence.
- Explanations: Certain concepts could have been explained more clearly.

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I finished this book and honestly, I don't think I'll be able to stop thinking about it for a while.

The Kite Runner is a story about friendship, betrayal, guilt, and redemption, but what stayed with me most was the way the past continues to follow Amir throughout his life.

Hassan's loyalty broke my heart. He loved Amir so deeply and so unconditionally, even when Amir didn't deserve it. And the thought that Hassan died believing Amir had forgotten him is one of the most heartbreaking parts of the entire story.

What I loved most about this book is that it doesn't make forgiveness or redemption feel simple. Amir's guilt doesn't disappear just because he eventually tries to make things right. The consequences of his choices stay with him, and that's what made his journey feel so human.

Khaled Hosseini's writing is heartbreaking without feeling like it's trying too hard to make you cry. There were moments where I genuinely had to put the book down for a second.

This is one of those books where the story ends, but the characters don't really leave you.

If you enjoy being manipulated by the author, this is a must-read. It makes you question everyone and keeps you guessing about who is telling the truth.

It’s fast-paced, easy to read, and quite addictive—definitely the kind of book you can finish in a day.
