What starts as a fun night quickly turns into a nightmare when Brandon is found dead. Their car has a punctured tire, there’s no network, and they’re completely trapped. Then Kayla is found dead too. Brooke is almost killed by the person she believes is Shane—but she never actually sees the killer’s face. All she remembers is the familiar scent of his aftershave. Based on that clue, Shane is sent to prison for the murders. Years later, Brooke returns to town with her son and starts working as a nurse in a men’s maximum-security prison. And there she comes face-to-face with Shane again. But Shane claims he is innocent. According to him, Tim—the same childhood friend Brooke has always trusted—is the real killer. Her best friend knows all of Amy’s secrets… even the truth about the little girl. The psychiatric ward is locked behind a passcode, and Amy has been putting on a perfect facade, pretending that she’s completely fine. But the question is… is she really? Then her ex-boyfriend joins her on the night shift—and suddenly, he disappears. The nurse insists that he went home, but Amy doesn’t believe her. And then… the power goes out. As the night unfolds, secrets begin to unravel, lies start coming to light, and I found myself questioning who I could actually trust.
