Today my mom received an award from the Broadmead Care Society for her SIXTEEN years (and counting!) of volunteer service in the coffee & gift shop. It’s so nice to see her dedication recognized. Congrats, mom! 💛 by @_pugandgrace_

It’s been a minute since I last crossed the stage for convocation, but last week’s ceremony at @viuniversity for my MEd was well with the wait (and the work!). I was very excited to finally meet my amazing supervisor Emily Baker in person (one of the differences with a fully remote degree) and to celebrate with my wonderful support system.
(You’ll also notice my me-made dress making an appearance 💛)

TW: pet loss/grief
Our sweet Rigby, forever frolicking by the ocean and guardian of our hearts.
Rigby passed over the rainbow bridge 8 months ago, and I am still profoundly impacted by the loss of his physical presence in my life. He walked with me for 15 years through some of the most difficult experiences of my journey. He loved me fiercely no matter what and he relished in having Dan in is later years. I miss him every day and he carries a piece of my soul with him in the afterlife.
