POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a minute since I last crossed the stage for convocation, but last week’s ceremony at @viuniversity for my MEd was well with the wait (and the work!). I was very excited to finally meet my amazing supervisor Emily Baker in person (one of the differences with a fully remote degree) and to celebrate with my wonderful support system.
(You’ll also notice my me-made dress making an appearance 💛)

Here’s to new challenges, bright beginnings, and to betting on yourself. ✨

🦇 I’m counting down the minutes until my favourite month. I truly love October and the mists, ghouls and magic that comes with it. The spooky season resonates deep within. It’s the inspiration for my handmade creations and the markets I organize that assemble my fellow October makers.
🧡
This year I am so excited to be apart of the @odditiesandcuriositiesexpo in Vancouver on October 11th and 12th. Find me and my lovely sidekick @chantastic_cookies in the vendor area reveling in all the frights and delights.
💚
October 18th & 19th sees the return of @spooky.markets to the Langford tracks. My lovely friend @the.hermits.path is hosting this gathering, and I am really looking forward to vending alongside a spooktacular group of makers.
🎃
My wee little @halloweenmarket_yyj is now in its fourth year and is taking place on Oct. 25th & 26th at the Da Vinci Center in Vic West. I have curated the best of our local Halloween makers for this event. Come a join us for the handmade goodies, performances, workshops, food and the coveted @howlbrewing pumpkin beer. Our Early Bat shopping hour tickets are almost sold out, and I’m thrilled to continue to #batvocate for @habitatacqtrust
🖤
As the veils grows thinner and our Samhain spirits rise, I am looking forward to sharing with you my creations, seeing you at these events, and celebrating the season with our spooky community.

Of all of my wild ideas, my adventure into the world of makers and markets has been more fulfilling than I thought possible. This community of talented and warm people is just awesome. And when I cook up another one of my ideas, they come along for the ride and make it an incredible experience.
