HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIJAH!!! BIG 6️⃣🎂🥳❤️

Ok so I’m gonna get a little vulnerable for a sec!
I don’t think I have ever told y’all on this app that my oldest son is on the autism spectrum, and one of his biggest struggles is communication. And I just wanted to say that he has improved soooo much in the past couple months it’s amazing. He went from only making car noses side note:( he has a hyperfixation towards any vehicle on this planet, he knows everyone by name and he can imitate the sound!)

Anyway….
we had to get him ready to start school this year and had 3 weeks to get him to use the bathroom independently and work on better communication and he has done it all in such a short amount of time! I don’t have a video of everything he says but he can identify his mom, dad, brother grandma, uncles etc… he can tell me what he wants like juice, chips, fries, and he can identify what he wants to watch on tv.. (he loves the move “cars”. he follows directions and simple commands, like: put it in the trash, wash your hands, flush,go potty And so much more!

So proud of this young man can’t wait to see what else he accomplishes before the year is over!
Mommy is so so proud I love you to the moon and back!🌙❤️ by @_r.eign
