Today makes 4 years, and I feel like we’ve finally found our rhythm. Today was my most favorite anniversary because it felt like the early days when nothing felt rushed and our mornings just consisted of Cape Town mountain views, blueberry muffins, and bike rides around the waterfront.

So much has happened since the early days and we’ve had to adjust to all the changes that come with growing up and gaining more responsibilities in life. Through it all, we never stopped being a team and never left the core of our foundation.

Now, here we are in year four and it feels like we’re finally on the other side, living in the life we’ve built together. & I’m still so much happier with you than I am anywhere else in the world.

Happy Anniversary, Chuma. May life continue to be full of grace, vineyards, mountain views, massages, mundane days, and all the bright ideas that come with loving you. 🥂💍 by @_rawilcox

Such an honor to be invited to the “We Are All Downstream of Stories” event at the Ford Foundation, hosted by the spectacular @jon__jackson. The room was intentionally curated to have like-minded academics, entrepreneurs, creatives, etc that are thinking seriously about the strengths (and limits) of narrative in the work we produce.

We had the opportunity to hear directly from people who were incarcerated, which I was mostly moved by, and their words really reminded us to keep the stakes at the forefront of our work.

I’m honored to have been invited to this intentional space, and thank you so much @officialkyoung for considering me. Excited for the work that @thisistheory_ continues to do to to bring academic thinking to a variety of industries. 💜 taken in Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice by @_rawilcox
