📝 Journaling has been my way of processing life since childhood. A space for my thoughts and emotions to flow freely.

Creating prompts comes naturally, but life got busy, and writing took a backseat. The pandemic and the birth of my son reignited my love for it, reminding me of the power of releasing through writing... and reminding me of who I truly am.

Join me this Wednesday at 3601 Lee Rd, 1-3 PM for the Soft Launch & Lunch!

I’m beyond excited to share this offering with you 🙏🏾🎉 by @_release_letgo

Summer of Reflection | Week 4 🌿
Release & Let Go Prompt #24

“How can you honor the people, places, or experiences you’ve had to release & let go?”

We’ve reached the final week of our Summer of Reflection journey.

As you spend time with Prompt #24, remember that honoring what you’ve released doesn’t mean returning to it. It can simply mean acknowledging its place in your story, appreciating what it taught you, and allowing yourself to move forward with compassion and gratitude.

There is no rush to finish. Spend this week with this prompt, then allow next week to simply let it all sink in. Catch up on your writing, revisit previous prompts, or return to the reflection that continues to speak to you. Healing isn’t measured by how quickly we move, it’s nurtured by our willingness to pause, reflect, and listen.

As we close this journey together, we’d love for you to join us for our Pizza & Pages celebration, an evening of community, conversation, and reflection.

📅 Saturday, August 1 | 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 A Healing Space
3601 Lee Road, Shaker Heights, OH

✨ Be on the lookout for RSVP details coming soon!

Thank you for spending your summer reflecting, releasing, reclaiming, and renewing with us. We can’t wait to celebrate this journey together.

Summer of Reflection | Week 3

Release & Let Go Prompt #19

“What would wholehearted self-compassion look like in your life? Describe a day lived from this place.”

We often extend kindness, patience, and understanding to everyone around us, but what would happen if we offered those same gifts to ourselves?

Imagine waking up without self-criticism. Moving through your day without the pressure to be perfect. Honoring your needs without guilt. Speaking to yourself with the same gentleness you would offer someone you deeply love.

This week, allow yourself to imagine a life rooted in self-compassion, not as something you have to earn but as something you already deserve.

Take a few quiet moments to journal. Notice what arises without judgment. Your answers may become the beginning of a new way of relating to yourself.

🌿 Continue your Summer of Reflection journey with us.

Summer of Reflection | A Weekly Journal Practice

Week Two …. Release with Prompt #16

This week, we gently shift from awareness to release.

Resistance often shows up quietly. It can look like overthinking, avoiding difficult conversations, holding tightly to old stories, delaying change, or trying to control outcomes we cannot.

Sometimes resistance protects us.

Sometimes it keeps us from the very peace we’re seeking.

As you sit with this week’s prompt, notice what you’re resisting, not with judgment, but with curiosity.

What might become possible if you loosened your grip, even just a little?

Whether you’re participating in our Summer of Reflection or joining us for today’s journal practice, we’re grateful you’re here.

✨ The Release & Let Go Reflection Deck is available in our office and through our Etsy shop. Link in bio.

May this week’s reflection create space for greater ease, trust, and freedom.

Summer of Reflection | A Weekly Journal Practice

Week One invites us to begin with awareness.

Before we can release what no longer serves us, we first have to notice what we’re holding onto.

This week’s prompt from the Release & Let Go Reflection Deck encourages us to gently examine our relationship with control, not with judgment, but with compassion.

Sometimes control has been our way of creating safety.

Sometimes it’s helped us survive uncertainty.

And sometimes, what once protected us begins to keep us from experiencing peace, trust, or freedom.

As you journal this week, resist the urge to find the “right” answer.

Simply notice.

Notice what comes up.
Notice what feels heavy.
Notice what you’re ready to understand a little differently.

Whether you’re participating in our Summer of Reflection or simply joining us for today’s practice, we’re grateful you’re here.

✨ The Release & Let Go Reflection Deck is available in our office and through our Etsy shop. Link in bio.

Registration for the Summer of Reflection remains open through Friday, July 3 if you’d like to join us for the remainder of the journey.

May this week offer you moments of stillness, insight, and gentle reflection.

Prompt #29: Identify a material possession, idea, or belief you’re attached to. How does this attachment show up in your life?

This week, I’ve been sitting with the idea of attachment… not just to things, but to beliefs.

The ones that quietly shape how I move through my day.

The ones that tell me to keep going, even when I’m tired.

The ones that make me pause before asking for support.

And what’s been coming up for me is this…
some of the beliefs I’ve carried have helped me survive, but they are no longer supporting the condition of my mind.

I’ve had to ask myself:
Where am I still holding on to ways of being that are rooted in pressure, expectation, or protection?
And how is that showing up in my thoughts, my body, and my ability to be present?

Letting go, for me, hasn’t looked like a big release. It's been quieter than that.

It’s noticing when my mind feels crowded.
It’s choosing to pause instead of push through. It's giving myself permission to not carry everything all at once.

Take a moment this week to notice what you may be holding onto… and how it’s showing up in your life.

You don’t have to release it all today.
Just begin with awareness. by @_release_letgo

Release & Let Go | Prompt #44: Identify one way you can practice mindfulness in your daily routine this week.

As I’ve been leaning into transition rituals, something that’s been grounding for me is my morning practice…

I’ve realized I don’t want to talk to anyone before I talk to myself.

Before the noise, before the expectations, before I respond to anyone else. I need a moment to arrive in my own mind.

To lay a foundation.
To get grounded.
To be mindful of the tone and condition of my thoughts before the day begins.

It’s not long or complicated… but it’s intentional.
And I’ve noticed it shifts how I move through everything that follows.

This week’s prompt feels aligned with that.

Maybe it’s not talking right away.
Maybe it’s a breath.
Maybe it’s a pause.

Just something that belongs to you before the world does. by @_release_letgo

Release & Let Go Prompt 20

Finding ways to lean into self-compassion… not just this week, but every week.

I’ve been sitting with this for a couple of weeks. Planning a big life celebration for my mom, turning 70 and retiring from her career, has had us going through old photos, honoring her life and everything she’s poured into others.

And somewhere in that, I came across this photo of me.

I was a young wife. Insecure. Confused. Pressured.
A young therapist. Holding so much anxiety and uncertainty.
I remember overworking myself at my job, pushing myself in the gym, and not being kind to my body with how I approached nutrition.

Looking at her now… I just feel tenderness.

I would tell her: you are more than enough. You belong.
Yes, you are different, but that’s because you are one of a kind.
You are loved. And I love you.

And maybe this is my reminder, even now, to turn that same compassion inward.

I’m good at loving others.
I’m learning to love on me the same way.

Nothing perfect, just intentional.

A little more compassion, day by day. by @_release_letgo
