To conclude the series of videos produced by @rx2video with @canoefmradio here is a video explains who I am. A man born with Cerebral Palsy who's worked hard from a small town with big dreams of commentating pro wrestling for companies like @gamechangerwrestling @tnawrestling @wwe but has never let the challenges of CP hold him back. Disability pride month may end after July according to the calendar but, for members of the disability we have to find the pride in our lives as disabled people every day and that isn't always easy. I take pride in the facts that I've worked hard to get to get to this point and despite that having Cerebral Palsy isn't always pleasant I do the best I can to be a good person a lift people up. How will you take pride in your disability? Until Next time Keep Calm and Roll On #disabilitypride #prowrestling #hardwork #disabilitycommunity by @_rollingdragon_

October is recognized as domestic violence awareness month if you or someone you know requires support please call the number provided. No act of abuse physical or emotional is acceptable, after talking with a trusted family member I realized that I was a victim of emotional abuse years ago and didn't realize it at the time. 2016 I was a collage student studying journalism I hired someone to take notes on my behalf during class and would have money sent to her via my family as I didn't know how to bank online at the time. Pay day for the note taker came around and the power was out at my families house so money couldn't be sent so the note taker said if you don't give me the money now not only will I not show up but my daughters birthday will be ruined because of you. So I went to an ATM paid the person what she was owed then made my family aware of the situation its safe to say they were furious. the matter was investigated the person was let go and last I heard she was working at a Tim Hortons somewhere. I'm telling you this real story because the type of abuse does not matter no abuse is acceptable, and because in the moment victims of abuse may not even realize they are being abused even if pointed out, this took place years ago so while not in person I forgive this person I hope her kids are doing well but, I hope she never forgets this experience , never forgets that disabled and good natured doesn't mean stupid, that we all have someone in our corner, and that karma comes for us all. until next time keep calm and roll on. #emotionalabuseawarness #domesticviolenceawarnessmonth by @_rollingdragon_

We will all experience grief in our lives at some point whether we want to or not. On social media we often try to portray ourselves as happy, doing well, or have an exiting life sorry to burst anyones bubble but, that is realistic as everyone grieves for different reasons. Members of the disability community grieve for things that a member of the able bodied community might not understand. I myself as a person with Cerebral Palsy have moments of grief for what could have been if I was born able-bodied, the ability to learn football from my dad, the ability to work as a pro wrestler, these are examples from my experience, people who acquire a disability later in life grieve over opportunities they once had but lost, people with chronic illnesses grieve over have to constantly deal with symptoms and going for various appointments, and people with terminal illnesses I don't believe I have to explain what they are grieving about. No matter what your situation is members of the disability community experience grief in different ways but here are some reasons we grieve that we shouldn't have to. not being taken seriously, being excluded, slow or inadequate resources, feeling like we are less then, discrimination, a lack of education about disability to the wider population, and missed or denied opportunities. We are heading into the colder darker months of the year so if you are someone disabled or not who is going through a rough time or experience seasonal depression I hear you and your feelings are valid. leave us a message in the comments what does grief look like to you and how do you process it? Until next time Check out our podcast The Sit Down Stand Out Show here for uplifting content www.rollingdragonmedia.com Keep Calm and Roll On #grief #disabilitycommunity #seasonalsadness #mentalheath by @_rollingdragon_

October is recognized as Dwarfism Awareness Month. I've had the pleasure of meeting a few members of this community, actress and content creator Cassidy Huff, music producer and reality tv star Jay Manual or, Mini Producer and I got to see standup comic Brad Williams preform live. All of these people have dealt with there own unique challenges as just like a video game their are different levels and challenges for dwarfism that effect people differently. Despite needing multiple operations, feeling different from their peers at times these people have been able to achieve their dreams in there chosen careers so if you meet someone who has might have dwarfism curiosity and questions are great because that's how we learn but, don't underestimate or devalue their struggles because we all deserve to be included and to make the most of this strange journey called life. Until next time Keep Calm and Roll On Check out our interviews with Mini Producer and Cassidy Huff on our website www.rollingdragonmedia.com by @_rollingdragon_

When you think of Chronic illness or Chronic Pain what does that look and sound like to you? Ive interview many individuals who deal with chronic pain or chronic illnesses some include @aly.corvin @accessibility_with_aspen_sage and @aliciagraceofficial just to name a few now, if you only speak to a person for 30 minutes one time you would have no idea that due to genetics, conditions injuries, or a sickness that was acquired later in life that these people were in pain or ill what so ever. Just because you can't see a persons pain doesn't mean it doesn't exist We all have good days and bad days but for individuals with Chronic illness or chronic pain there are manageable and unmanageable days and because not everyone can see it individuals may be told "your exaggerating, its all in your head, your seeking attention: these thoughts can come from people who don't understand chronic conditions, doctors who are struggling to find answers for the patient, or just from rude strangers, lets stop ignoring the pain of others and provide passion, for learning more imformation, a listening ear, or shoulder to cry on for those who need it. Nobody is exempt from becoming disabled, Nobody is exempt from developing chronic pain or, illness , and most importantly nobody is unworthy of compassion and understanding so please try to change what you think pain and illness looks like and show those around you what love and understanding looks like until next time Keep Calm and Roll On #chronicpainawarness #chronicillnessawarness #sitdownstandoutshow #rollingdragonmedia by @_rollingdragon_
