One of my favorite poets and poems as a kid and even now as an adult, is by Langston Hughes. The man had a way with words. And boy, boy ol’ boy, do I love words. Lol

Summer is almost over, yet somehow, it feels like it lasted a little longer this year. I’ve taken it all in: the breeze, the humid air, and the small moments that reminded me to slow down and be present.
I’m deeply grateful for God, my family, and my friends. This has been a season of growth, transformation, and breakthrough. For the first time in a long time, I’m learning to truly enjoy the journey.
One of the greatest lessons this year has taught me is that discipline is a daily choice, not an emotion. It is the decision to show up each day and try again, again, and again.
Growth comes with discomfort, but you get to choose when you face it: in the beginning through discipline, or at the end through regret. I’m choosing the beginning.
Become who you were always meant to be. You are not competing with anyone else. You are leveling up from the person you used to be.
Go deeper in your faith. Lead. Run. Sing. Write. Wherever you go, bring joy, love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and self-control into the room.
I’m grateful for this life, and I’m becoming even more grateful with every step. ❤️✨

Proof we can do hard things. This was such a HARD hike but it was transformative. Ya girl was afraid of heights but still hiked a volcano.
I even teared up a little when we got to camp.😭😂 The hike was 5 hours up the mountain and a shorter time going down. This experience I would not trade for the world. But I’m glad I made it back alive. Guatemala 🇬🇹 owes me nothing but my shades. Lol 😩✨ by @_rosefrancois_

Transition Update: ✨📚🎉

Dear Valued Z House Publishing Family,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an important update regarding the future of Z House Publishing and the services we provide to authors and creatives like you.

After deep reflection, I have decided to close my business as I transition into new ventures that align with the next phase of my professional and creative journey. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with both gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.

As part of this transition, a merger will take place, and I am pleased to introduce Rose François, who will become the new owner of Z House Publishing. Effective January 1, @_rosefrancois_ will serve as your primary contact for all publishing services, inquiries, and continued support. Expect new branding, new energy, innovation and community.

Rose brings a strong passion for storytelling, author development, and the literary arts. I am confident that under her leadership, Z House Publishing will continue to grow and serve writers with excellence, integrity, and care.
