A bucket list show with some of my favourite people.

The 10 year anniversary of @chancetherapper Colouring Book feels like such a big deal to me. It was my favourite album during a completely different chapter of my life. Dancing and singing along felt so nostalgic.

And what an absolute joy to watch Chance have so much fun on stage.

DRIP & FLOW is BACK BABYYYYYYYYYY ~ a 90 minute movement class with myself and @_samstreeter at @thelabvictoria on July 18th 7-9pm 🙏

A 90 minute blend of high vibe dance and cardio movements paired with restorative flow to make you feel more YOU 🫶

Sam and I created this class because movement is how we come home to ourselves — and we wanted to build a space where other people could feel that too. Not a workout. Not a performance. A homecoming.

It starts with dance. The real kind — where the music is so good your body just responds before your brain can overthink it. Where you look around the room and everyone is in it together and something about that makes you feel less alone than you have in weeks.

Then we slow it down. Yoga that doesn’t ask you to be flexible — it just asks you to show up. Breathwork that moves through your body like it’s been waiting for permission. Restoration so deep the floor feels like it’s holding you on purpose.

You leave different. You always leave different.
And yes — there’s a Kid Sister popsicle waiting for you at the end. Because joy isn’t just the destination, it’s the whole damn journey.

“Anxiety is what happens when energy has nowhere to go. Move your body, bitch!” - @realfunwow

Tbh, I’m a super anxious human. Movement is medicine. Movement is preventative care, for mind, body, and soul.

Unfortunately, if I’m in it, the real funk, the doom spiral, the circus brain… I loose track of my greatest tools and am not the most self motivating person. So, let this be a reminder to both of us.

If you can, and are able, move your body; walk, run, hike, swim, dance, do yoga, do pilates, strength train…

Any physical activity acts as a stressor, prompting the brain to release endorphins to help block pain and relax the body.

This hormonal boost can help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Do what makes you feel alive!
