Happy heavenly birthday Gedo 🕊 extremely blessed and honored to have felt a love as strong as my grandparents towards me(their favorite grandchild), our family, and most importantly, each other. I can only continue to pray I find an unwavering love like theirs to stand a devoted 60 years with one another! 🫡

We love and miss you both dearly but now I get to wear your wedding portrait on my sleeve as a badge of honor representing where and who I came from. A story of two elders that had the largest impact on a young girls heart. Keeping you close for always 🤞🏼🤍

I’m so spoiled to be able to say my first recreational dive was in the Red Sea!🌊🪸🐠🇪🇬
This was a monumental experience, trip, year, everything wrapped up into one💝 So much I could say but I yap enough and would rather just praise the overwhelming, never ending, love of God! Looking forward to more seasons like these and catching them on film now that I got my @gopro 🎞

Don’t mind me I’m just here practicing for my first award show 🤭 hehe -

I’d like to start by thanking Jesus Christ for revealing to me His grace and mercy over the course of my life when I’ve done absolutely nothing to deserve it! Without God and the Holy Spirit guiding my steps I would’ve never made it into the rooms that I did, leading me to a multitude of opportunities, not all of them good of course but all inevitably landed me on this very stage accepting this award in front of all of you.
It’s such an honor to be here and I’d like to bask in it for just a moment *closes eyes, takes deep breath* to all the kids watching back home, this is what hard work & consistent self discipline could get you. I’m standing here not receiving a little statue some group deemed me deserving of but rather getting back fruits of my own laborious years from many areas of my life where I’ve sacrificed my personal desires for what would get me closer to my goal. (A goal which was never to win an award btw, that was just a plus that came out of naturally aspiring). All of you have this same power within you!

I’m over time now & they’re playing the music so I’ll wrap with the biggest thanks to all my friends and family who have supported me on this journey and my many delusions. (They paid off momma!) Finally, thank you to the Academy for recognizing the raw talent within me and taking a chance on this young Egyptian girl trying to make a name for her lineage! I think the ancestors would agree, I’ve serve them well! *blows kiss goodbye, holds up Oscar, walks offstage* 🏆💙🍋💐

~ Grateful ~
So many reasons for me to give continuous thanks 🙏🏼 my last two weeks in particular have been blissful and a big part of that is owed to this trip for giving me a fresh perspective. When I heard this 3 Stacks track, the title could not have been a more perfect description of how it felt walking in those redwoods. What ants are to us, we are to these trees and it’s such a surreal reminder what a tiny speck our existence really is on this earth.

I have a renewed faith that regardless of what happens in my life, what paths I take, ALL things will always workout for my betterment and that kind of peace is something you can only obtain with the presence and hand of God over your life! Amen 🙏🏼 I pray the same for any of you reading my long caption!

Thanksgiving comes at the perfect time, after the year has beaten the bricks out of us lol and Sequoia was just the reset I needed. 10/10 recommend getting out in nature as often as you can, wherever you are located. My thankfulness would not be complete without the mentioning of the amazing support system behind me 🫶🏼 Heart is always so full from your knowing of my close family and friends continual love, prayers, and guidance. taken in Sequoia National Forest by @_sandoora

Yesss, this is my New Years Eve post 🤭 hehehe. Thank you God for the experiences that have molded me into the woman I am today, those both joyfilled & difficult to bear. Guide my steps in the direction you have planned for me. Protect my family from sickness and pain, remind us to release any burdens or stress we may be harboring as your word says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

Thank you God for your grace and mercy. I pray this same prayer for you and your loved ones. I pray that those who don’t know Gods love are introduced in 2023, and if not then, the next year, and the next year. There is no deadline on a relationship with your creator. Finally, those who’s relationship with you is broken and strained that they find their way back to you Lord. AMEN 🙏🏼

Honorable mention: NY has been my fav trip I’ve taken in 2022 🖤 this season of mine is titled EXPLORATION! I’m continuing to prioritizing travel and my tattoos this upcoming year! taken in DUMBO, Brooklyn by @_sandoora
