✨ And finally... my Kundalini Yoga classes at @kuringa_berlin are beginning. ✨

This is a moment that means a lot to me.

Since I first encountered Kundalini Yoga in 2019, I have walked a path filled with highs and lows, doubts and revelations, challenges, and profound emotions.
Through teacher training, continuous learning, and personal practice, this journey has transformed me in ways I could never have imagined.

I feel honoured to share this practice and the teachings that I have had the privilege to receive and embody.

Whether you are completely new to Kundalini Yoga or have been practicing for years, you are warmly welcome.
My classes are open to all genders, all bodies, and all levels of experience.
They are a space where we come together to breathe, move, meditate, and reconnect with ourselves beyond labels and expectations.

Together, we cultivate presence, awareness, and a sense of unity beyond duality.

Berlin, Germany, 6th September 2026: Lau, 49, gender fluid, hold their red keffiyeh looking straight into the camera.
They have used the “We’Re Here to Stay” project to unequivocally express their view on queerness, through words, fashion, make-up, and DIY. Queerness is more than a way of being in socio-cultural terms: “Queer liberation is inclusive, de-colonial and trans-feminist.” To them, it is obvious that: “No one is free, until we are all free”.
Lau and I are old friends. Without their support this project would have never had the chance to get started in Berlin - the very place where these last years’ political and institutional violence against the LGBTIQA+ community suddenly turned into a big, tangible, violent attack on Berlin Pride, on 25th July 2026. ———————————

Maybe it’s no coincidence that I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday with balloons. 🎈

A balloon is just an empty shell until you fill it with air.
It’s the air that gives it shape, makes it rise, and carries it upward.

And life is a little like that.

Fifty years of breathing it all in.
Gentle breezes and strong headwinds.
Storms weathered and new horizons discovered.

Fifty years of memories, feelings, and encounters.
Of things I’ve let go of, and others that have made me soar.

Fifty years of change, of freedom gained, and new directions.

And looking at these balloons, I’m reminded that we don’t always need to know exactly where we’re going.

Sometimes, all we need is enough air within us to rise, and keep moving forward.

50 years.
And still flying high. 🎈✨

✨For me, the Black Rabbit is a metaphor for being enigmatic and out of the ordinary, for stepping beyond the familiar and trusting the unknown.

It represents the part of us that listens to intuition rather than following a predetermined path.

Where the road disappears, there is no map, only an invitation to go deeper, to surrender, and to trust what cannot yet be seen. 💚

🌿 Green is the colour of the nature that surrounds me.
The green of leaves, plants, and trees.
When I immerse myself in its presence, I feel calmed and brought back to my centre.
And I remember that I am not separate from the living world around me.

In modern yoga symbolism, green is associated with Anāhata, the heart chakra, the centre of love, compassion, openness, and connection.

Green reminds me to open my heart, to listen, to connect, and to simply be. 💚

📸 And what is the body, if not the sacred home of the soul?
The carriage of the spirit, journeying through this human, earthly world. ✨

Through @adamripleys lens, the naked body becomes a celebration of this journey, not something to hide, correct, or be ashamed of, but something to see, honour, and embrace.

Why should we be ashamed of our flaws, our imperfections, the marks and shapes that make each of us unique?

Every body is different. Every body tells a story.
And in its own uniqueness, every body is already whole.

To be seen is not to be exposed.
To be naked is not to lose dignity.
Sometimes, it is simply to return to ourselves,
fully, freely, unapologetically. ❤️

This summer, until today, has been incredibly intense on an emotional level, bringing many experiences, encounters, challenges, and moments of deep reflection.
In a world marked by hate, division, war, and suffering, I believe the most powerful choice we can make is to keep our hearts open and spread love.
Not by ignoring the pain, but by choosing compassion, connection, and kindness.
Every small act of love can bring more light into the world.

💫 Once again, Whole Festival was a melting pot of emotions, awakenings, sensations, and discoveries.

A three-day journey through magical creatures, mythical animals, and shamans who held and supported me through moments of vulnerability. @mrtmrty

A journey through the elements. ✨
It began with Water, the rain, a dive into the lake, tears, cleansing, and the freedom to let my emotions flow. 🌊
Then came Air, carrying connection, community, shared breath, and the beautiful feeling of belonging. 🌬️
Fire awakened passion, curiosity, courage, joy, and the wild freedom to fully express myself. 🔥
Finally, Earth grounded me, reminding me that everything I am searching for is already within me. 🪨

A special thank you to @the.sober.space for being my anchor throughout the festival. During my two volunteer shifts, it became a place of meaningful conversations, deep listening, and beautiful connections. 💛

Staying sober isn't always easy, especially at a festival. But this year I met so many sober people, and sharing our different life experiences while listening to each other's stories reminded me that there are many paths to freedom, healing, and connection.
Thank you to everyone who shared a piece of their journey with me. You made me feel seen, supported, and less alone. ❤️

This year I didn't dance as much as I usually do, mainly because of the pain in my knee. Instead, I embraced the festival in a completely different way.
I immersed myself in beautiful workshops, the cruising areas, the sauna, the lake, and all the meaningful connections and moments of presence that made this experience so special. 💜

So grateful for every encounter, every lesson, every moment. 🙏

Embrace the chaos. 🌈💫✨

✨I've been to other festivals before, but when I went to @whole.festival for the first time two years ago, I knew I'd found my place.

That's where I realized how deeply I belong to the queer community, surrounded by colourful people, wild souls, and beautiful weirdness. 💜

I've been super busy these past few days, but tonight I finally had fun trying on my outfits!

This year I'll be volunteering at @the.sober.space, exactly where I first discovered it two years ago.
