This performance took place as part of the @zimmer.tlv at the @thrashaddiction pop-up shop at @teder.fm, Tel-Aviv. During two weeks there were free live hardcore punk shows, electronic, techno parties, art and experimental noise events organized by Thrash Addiction.Thrash Addiction is a d.i.y design, screen printing, record shop with underground music and subculture gatherings and activities.

Alex Sesper @_sesper, is a Brazilian artist and musician who started his carrer in late 80’s playing with several Brazilians well know punk/hardcore bands and also into visual arts and fanzine/printing culture for over three decades.

In recent years, he began more in-depth research on field recordings and tape loops using Porta Studio cassettes as instruments and research tools, while also incorporating more electronics into his setup.

He has lived in Tel Aviv since 2020, finding a perfect place to merge his visual production with soundscapes and experimentation, as well as a place to improvise with many musicians from different backgrounds.

A 16ª Bienal Internacional de Curitiba apresenta “…Colagem Continuada…”, exposição com curadoria de Jhon Voese (@jvoese42) e Mário de Alencar (@mariodealencar ). e convida para sua abertura na Sede Adalice Araújo do MAC Paraná (@mac_parana).

Partindo da colagem como forma de pensamento, a exposição aproxima imagens, materiais, histórias e diferentes gerações da produção contemporânea. Recortar, sobrepor, deslocar e justapor — operações para criar novas relações entre aquilo que antes estava separado.

Third Cinema (named after the South American film movement) emerged from a chance proximity: Michal Sapir from @aforgashum rehearsing drums in a studio next door to where Alex Sesper from @acruzsesper was working on his visual pieces.

They had crossed paths earlier, in 2021, during the Noise Agency residency. Starting something together felt immediate. Drums and bass became the raw core — early sketches shaped through repetition, texture, and instinct.

A forced pause during the 2023 war interrupted the process. In 2024, they resumed with a new configuration, joined by Yam Ashkenazi from @we.amiga on vocals and synths, expanding the sound into denser, more atmospheric territories.

This lineup moved quickly into live performances, capturing a raw live recording now available on digital platforms: spotify... and thirdcinema.bandcamp.com by @_sesper

@maadim_tapes is a cassette label established in Tel Aviv in late 2024 by a group of musicians and artists. The label is now releasing a new batch of titles by Stra, Aviv Ezra & Johanna Riethmueller, Nicoteen, 3 Guitars, alongside earlier releases by Hagai Izenberg, Love Grenade, and Asaf Setty.
