Photos from Lucky’s birth in our new home. ⭐️

I went to 41 weeks and 3 days with him, and the biggest challenge this time was my mental state, not the birth itself. I had a reallyyyy tough week leading up to it and felt completely tapped out, I kept wondering how I would find the strength for the hardest thing my body will ever do.

But when the time came, my body knew exactly what to do. With my midwife, husband, mother and mother in law there, my body opened, it labored quickly, and brought my baby earthside. 9 lbs and 23 inches of the most perfect, healthy boy I could’ve ever dreamt up!!

I’m so grateful that my body holds a wisdom and knowing of birth that lives beyond my mind, beyond me. A holy intelligence, thank you God!
