Follow me on this hair journey. As a medical professional that’s super busy at work, I don’t have time for any distractions, so I normally don’t like my hair down or in my face. I love a good high bun, low bun, pony tail, basically anything to keep hair out of my face…but unfortunately it was causing breakage and lack of hair growth for me. I’m trying to do better now and keep regular hair appointments and trims. Shout out to @tre_ismyname for getting me right every time! 🙌🏾

Residency training is a time in life that no one understands except the people that work next to you every day. The bond you create is one that is unbreakable no matter how long you don’t see each other.

We trained together in one of the most challenging and terrifying times during COVID. We were there for each other as resident physicians and we still do our best to show up for each other as Attending physicians.

This is our first meet up since graduating residency 3 years ago! Life gets busy when you have Emergency medicine, Nephrology, and Internal medicine doctors working every day, but we made sure to make time for each other this year because we needed to see each other and not just send a text or call.

For all the upcoming interns and to all the current residents, create the bonds that will last a lifetime, I promise it is so worth it! 😊
