I’m deeply grateful to have forged bonds with amazing women entrepreneurs and to meet new inspiring people along this journey. Taking care of yourself can be very simple and may take various shape.. A good book, a long walk (my personal fav), dancing to your favorite music, a day doing absolutely NOTHING but relaxing at the beach or under a tree somewhere... you just have to pick a spot amongst the various parks in Toronto!! ⁠

🌟Satisfaction of a work well done🌟 ⁠

Here is a custom made Market basket that took me 7 ENTIRE days to crochet - with little breaks😅, just because I am a newbie (lol) and I wanted to do even-stitches sooo bad 🤪.. The wonderful women artisans I work with won't even take half of that time to build this basket 😂. That's because they are my super women!!!🥰 and it's still a lot of time.⁠

I actually wanted to learn to crochet myself... I needed to know what it would take to build one of these bags one day.. It was important to go through the process myself so I understand what I can and can not ask to the artisans when placing my orders...👀👀 - Let me tell y'all!. Dang! it's HARD WORK 😅 ⁠

I am actually pretty happy with the result, next time I will try to do it faster. It's also pretty cool because now that I did it, I get to do my own samples to send them so it can actually streamline the process 😅🤩⁠ taken in Canada by @_soo.ala
