Three words: GOD. GRIT & SACRIFICE πŸ™πŸΎ After a 6 hour exam and a law exam to follow, GOD, WE DID IT! πŸ‘¨πŸΎβ€βš•οΈπŸŽ‰Passed my board exam on my first attempt and now Officially a Licensed & Board Certified Doctor of Physical Therapy. My faith may have been stretched, but one things for certain, it was never broken! These past 7 months consisted of nothing but 8-10 hour study days in the library everyday, putting other passions on pause & a level of discipline beyond the norm. It was honestly ROUGH! Ultimately what kept me sane was hearing Gods voice tell me to not worry & that he will multiply everything 1000x more if I remained focused on him. Once you fully submit things to God and allow him to intervene, the supernatural takes place for you to reach his greater calling for you 🩺❀️ S/o to my family & my support system for being my back bone through this process. Challenges are inevitable, but being defeated is optional. β€”β€” You may now call me, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀π₯𝐞𝐱 𝐀. π•πšπ§πœπ¨π₯, 𝐃𝐏𝐓First and foremost, THANK YOU GOD!! My lord and my savior for always keeping me under your wings because your faith-fullness is like none other. Lord knows this journey has been THE most challenging & most humbling thing I have ever gone through in my life thus far. From starting PT school during a pandemic in 2020, to struggling with an online learning environment, constant nights of battling stress & school anxiety, imposter syndrome daily, exams after exams , 3,000+ hours of clinical rotations, and seeing hundreds of patients later, I can proudly say, I am finally done! 20 years later, my dreams of becoming a doctor since the age of 5 is now my reality. I remember being 16 when champs sports offered me my first job as a part time sales associate in high school & I told myself that one day I would make a name for myself. To announce today, 8 years later, that I’m officially now back with the company as a brand partner is something far beyond words can even express. This is living proof that God already mapped out the blueprint to elevate me in ways farther than my own plans. It’s crazy how things in life come back full circle and shows us how we never know what opportunities are waiting for us right outside our doors. As I type this post, I continue to say God really showed out with this one!! I want to first & foremost thank my first ever manager Aretha, for playing a vital role in this chapter and placing my name in rooms I had yet to enter. Aretha believed in me since my very first interview with her when I was 16 and supported me in all my endeavors ever since. I want to thank my friends and family who constantly remind me that the brand would be bigger than I could imagine. I also want to thank all of the great champs sports /footlocker people I have worked with over these months, but most importantly those of you who support me daily and have been loyal customers since day 1.
