I made this film in Lyari, a place where football is more than just a game, it is a dream that lives in every street. The FIFA World Cup @fifaworldcup brings a different energy here, from kids playing with passion to elders sharing the same love for the sport. They may not have the biggest grounds, facilities, or support, but they carry talent, dedication, and the hope of one day representing Pakistan on a bigger stage.

With every painted street, every flag, and every corner filled with life, Lyari shows that dreams don’t need perfect conditions to exist. They just need passion. This journey was a reminder that some of the greatest stories are hidden in the places where people keep believing, even when nobody is watching.

Bhit Shah was one of those projects that was as much fun as it was difficult.

Trying to capture the soul of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai’s shrine. The music, the people, the rituals, the energy, and all the little moments happening around it was a challenge in itself.

You can’t really ask a place like Bhit Shah to slow down for the camera. You just have to be there, observe, and try to capture it as honestly as you can.

A beautiful few days of chasing moments, stories, and sounds in Bhit Shah.

When you choose a creative path, not everyone will understand your vision in the beginning. Sometimes, you start with no support, no guarantees, and barely any hope that it will work out. But when you keep showing up, keep learning, and keep creating with passion, you slowly build your own way.

Looking back, I’m grateful for every uncertain beginning, every closed door, and every moment that made me question myself. I started with almost nothing but a vision, and today I’m working on projects I once only imagined. Still learning, still growing, but so much better than where I started.

Exploring the beautiful traditions, music, culture, and stories of Sindh was an unforgettable experience. From meeting locals and visiting mazaars to discovering the rich heritage that makes Sindh so special, every moment gave us something meaningful to capture.

Feeling grateful to have been part of this journey as the DOP, alongside an incredible team whose passion and hard work made it all possible. This project gave us more than just a documentary. it gave us memories we’ll carry for a long time.

There was a time when I prayed for things I could barely imagine. Today, I look around and realize Allah has blessed me with more than I ever thought possible. Not every prayer was answered the way I expected, but every blessing arrived exactly as it was meant to. Through every delay, lesson, and unexpected turn, His plan proved greater than my own. Alhamdulillah for what I asked for, for what I received, and for the countless blessings I never even knew to ask for.
