Another incredible story 🤩

“We may not have brought home the gold, but the silver carries the story of our hard work, sacrifices, and fighting spirit. My team and I gave everything on that field, and this is only the beginning. Next time, we’ll return stronger, better prepared, mentally tougher, and even more hungry for greatness.”🇮🇳🧿

At 10, he borrowed a jersey just to try rugby. Years later, he captained India. Twice.

Meet Sumit Kumar Roy, a bus driver’s son from Kolkata who turned an unexpected introduction to rugby into an extraordinary journey.

From playing internationally in Fiji, Oman, and Uzbekistan to winning gold at Nationals and becoming the highest bidder’s pick at the RPL Auction.

And he achieved all this by just 20.

One borrowed jersey. One small opportunity. A journey beyond borders.

Because sometimes, all it takes to change your life is saying yes to something new.

This is Sumit’s story. A story worth discovering.
