One of the best pairs of jeans we’ve had come thru here in a while. Exclusively for @pickwickvintage Sunday Oct 4th!

1940s Montgomery Ward 101 side zip jeans. They came to us beautifully repaired and we added to the repairs in the original style (as the jeans were threadbare and in need), along with some photos of the original owner from the 40s. A really special pair. We paired them with a 1980s Albert Nipon ruffle blouse that we reworked from a dress to a blouse!

Repairs on a customer’s amazing pair of vintage Wranglers.

For these, Jenna opened up the side seams, backpatched the entire thigh and knee areas, stitched the backpatch cotton interfacing into place with vertical stitches that blend in, then she darned heavier where the holes were. One of our most common repairs and one that we love to do!
