One year of Deliver Me, Mother. 🤍

Exactly one year ago, I officially became a published author.

I still remember the feeling of putting Deliver Me, Mother out into the world. I was skeptical, always praying people won’t come and text me that they’ve noticed a lot of mistakes and grammatical errors.

The book was a story I carried, a story I had to tell, and in many ways, a part of me that I was willing to share with others.

A year later, I find myself reflecting on the journey with so much gratitude.

Grateful for everyone who bought the book.
For everyone who read it.
For everyone who has started and hasn’t ended
For those who recommended it to someone else.
For the conversations it started.
And for every person who reminded me that our stories have the power to connect us.
One year later, Deliver Me, Mother is no longer just a book I wrote.

It is a story that now belongs to everyone who has read it.

Happy first anniversary to Deliver Me, Mother. 🥂📚

One year down. And I’m still just getting started.

First post of 2026 🙈

I didn’t plan to start the year with an announcement, but here we are.

A short while ago, I walked into @pulseghana as an intern, curious, learning, trying to find my feet. That curiosity turned into National Service, then more responsibility, and now, I’m stepping into a new chapter as Social Content & Digital Innovation Lead.

It’s a newly created role that brings together video production and social media strategy to create impact across our digital platforms. The journey from intern to a management role in two years still feels surreal, and if I’m honest, a little scary. Being the youngest person to lead a team in the organisation comes with its own weight, and that’s partly why this post took a while.

This experience has reinforced something I’ve come to believe deeply: you don’t always need decades of experience to lead. Sometimes, you need consistency, curiosity, and the willingness to learn fast and show up fully.

I’m still figuring things out, but I’m excited about what lies ahead.
Brace yourself for bold ideas and exciting content from @pulseghana this year.

Happy New Year 🎉

Updated my Bio!🥳🫶🏻🙈

3 months, 12 courses, earned 12 badges, and received 12 certifications as part of the 2025 CNN Academy Fellowship: Voices of the South, selected from about 10,000 applicants.

The fellowship is designed to invest in emerging journalists from the Global South, equipping us with the tools to tell stories that shape perspectives and drive change. From July to October 2025, the first phase of the program was delivered entirely online through the CNN Academy Hub, where participants engaged in courses covering:
• Ethics in Journalism
• The Art of Storytelling
• When the News Breaks
• Reporting from the Field
• Digital Storytelling
• Writing for Digital
• Social Storytelling
• Writing News for Live Television
• Scriptwriting
• Open Source Reporting
• Artificial Intelligence
• Mobile Storytelling

After completing the first phase, we were tasked to develop a short pitch on Global Health Reporting, which would serve as the basis for the second phase of the fellowship in Abu Dhabi. I didn’t make it to the final selection, but every course, every challenge, and every interaction has been an invaluable part of my growth.

Excited to apply all I’ve learned to create meaningful stories that amplify voices and experiences from the Global South.

I went to work but I felt something watching this unfold. 🥹
Seeing fans meet @blacksherif_ at the University of Ghana, some shaking with excitement, others grabbing a selfie, an autograph or a moment to talk to him, left me with goosebumps.
It was a reminder of just how much music can mean to people.
If you had one minute with Black Sherif, what would you do?
