Just us, sample tiles, and a very strong opinion about every little detail.

The colors, the feel, the way it all comes together. We’re looking at everything…and yes, we’ll probably look at it again. 🤎 by @_thetileedit

We may have gotten a little particular about the details.

Numbers about 1.5× larger, so they’re easier to spot across the table. Tiles with a little more thickness to feel substantial in your hand. And detailed artwork etched right into each tile, down to the tiniest flourish.

Did we zoom in too far? Probably. Did we stop? Obviously not.

Five weeks ago today, we hit 1K followers on Instagram, and honestly, we couldn’t believe it. One thousand people following along in our teeny corner of the internet, supporting our goals, our ridiculous reels, and our even more ridiculously good-looking tiles.

We were ecstatic. So naturally, we slammed some champagne and celebrated in our front yards, like we do for most occasions as neighbors and friends.

But that was just the beginning. In 35 days, another FOUR thousand of you have joined us, and we seriously don’t take it lightly. It means a lot. Like, a lot a lot.

We’re incredibly grateful and CANNOT wait to get these tiles on your tables in November.

P.S. If you made it this far, mark our words: We’ll be sharing that pink set when we hit 10K. 💞 by @_thetileedit

A little press for the group chat. ✨

We shared a little of our story with Voyage Austin…how two friends, neighbors, and moms with a shared love of mahjong, design, and gathering around a table somehow decided to build a company.

There has been a lot of designing, tweaking, sampling, changing our minds, and obsessing over every last detail. Seeing a piece of our story published feels pretty surreal.

Thank you, @voyageaustin, for featuring The Tile Edit. Read the full interview at the link in our bio. 🤎 by @_thetileedit
