a NEW vibespace ✨♥️🪴

Plants will always be my first love but life is more than what’s growing in my pots. I’ll be sharing a little more family, a little more everyday life, and still all the plant joy. Plants are part of my life — not the whole story. Hope you enjoy this next chapter as much as I do

Thanks for being here growing with me! 🫶🏽 taken in San Francisco, California by @_thevibespace

It started with one… 🪴💚

Then came another, then another, & now we’re here! 🪴🪴🪴

The ZZ PLANT was my 1st houseplant which was gifted to me by momma vibespace when I moved into my 1st apartment.

What was your 1st houseplant?

Just need a big enough tub & a shelf riser

This method saves me from numerous trips back and forth to the sink 💦🪴

Officially time to start spooooky season 🎃 👻🕸️

September flew by and can’t believe October is already here! Growing up, I wasn’t too big on Halloween but since having my own family, these past two years I’ve been getting into it more and more. I’m loving the pumpkins, the tricks, the ghouls, & spooky but cute decorations.

Now time to get working on our family costumes

Everywhere I go, I’m taking more notice of the different plants & how they’re styled. Also, seeing what plants thrive in different settings because I know not all of us can provide the brightest natural light in our homes.

And if you notice, those fiddles and birds of paradise need the most light so stop sticking them in a dark corner! ☀️🪴

Low/medium light plants
-Variety of scindapsus
-Variety of pothos
-ZZ plants
-Chinese evergreen

High light plants
-Fiddle leaf fig
-Birds of paradise
-Ficus audrey
-Lady palm

Celebrated my wife’s birthday this past weekend with a staycation at @staytreehousesiliconvalley 🏡

#staycation #bayarea #treehousehotel #dadlife

This was our first time eating at @valleygoatsv & the food was amazing! Our normal go to cuisines are either Japanese, Thai, or Mexican so this was a treat for us. We had dinner there Saturday and even came back for brunch the next day 🤤

Parents with young kids, you know we have to keep them busy while eating out and these monster trucks were our littles toy of choice. They also gave us a coloring sheet with a few games that kept my oldest busy. Very family friendly restaurant!

This was a super cool VW bug named LUV BUG 🐞

We also loved they had a breakfast cafe so we didn’t have to worry about food or leaving the hotel. Just walked down the stairs and we were there! So convenient for us 🤗

Everything nice bagel tartine was 👌🏽

Spent the first night hanging out at the beer garden! Blessed the weather was so nice and so awesome they had a large grass area filled with yard games that kept the kids busy while the adults ate

Highly recommend the pizzas! The “Forrest” was our favorite 🍕

Pool’s located in the cent of the hotel & what’s great is that it’s HEATED!

A hotel that offers pool toys, I’m about it! Didn’t wave to worry about blowing up any floaties or beach balls this time 👍🏽

As a plant lover, it was cool seeing the variety of plants & how they were styled all over the grounds 🪴

We had this filtered water spout down the hall from our room and as a dad, this was clutch for me because it made it so easy to fill up our families water bottles

Plant wall goals!

Fiddle leaf fig was huge & placed in this corner!

Overall, we has a great time as a family & still cannot get over we have something like this right in the heart of silicon (tech) valley taken in Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley by @_thevibespace

Weekend @staytreehousesiliconvalley 🏡💚

From the beer garden, pool, on site restaurants, plants & whimsy aesthetics, this place was perfect for our family staycation. Right in the heart of silicon (tech) valley, it felt like we were somewhere else.

If you’re visiting the Bay Area or are a local, highly recommended checking this place out. We can’t wait for our next stay 🥰

Still my favorite repotting trend. It really is easy as 1,2,3 🪴 👍🏽

How many plants have you repotted this season? For me, it’s probably number 4 and I still have a few more to go
