Thanks to Jeff at @_thevibespace ‘s recent video for pushing me to finally order something to go over my bucket to help make the watering process easier!

Now I don’t have so much waste when I am trying to give my plants 🪴 a thorough watering and I don’t have to walk a massive amount of plants back and forth to the sink for a deeper soaking. 🎉🎉🎉

Work smarter… not harder! 🙌🏻

🚨🚨🚨 Just a little note about reusing water! Since pests like root mealybugs and certain soil pathogens can potentially spread through runoff water, anyone concerned about cross-contamination can simply collect the runoff and run it through the SAME plant a couple of times rather than sharing it between plants. You can still conserve water/nutrients without the added risk of transferring anything between your plants! 🚨🚨🚨

• PLEASE use code PLANTLADY for a discount on @happyhappyhouseplant products- I’ve been very happy with the growth I’ve been experiencing!!

• This sink strainer is linked in my Amazon Storefront if you’d like to try this!

Let me know if you do something similar for less waste?

Officially time to start spooooky season 🎃 👻🕸️

September flew by and can’t believe October is already here! Growing up, I wasn’t too big on Halloween but since having my own family, these past two years I’ve been getting into it more and more. I’m loving the pumpkins, the tricks, the ghouls, & spooky but cute decorations.

Now time to get working on our family costumes

Everywhere I go, I’m taking more notice of the different plants & how they’re styled. Also, seeing what plants thrive in different settings because I know not all of us can provide the brightest natural light in our homes.

And if you notice, those fiddles and birds of paradise need the most light so stop sticking them in a dark corner! ☀️🪴

Low/medium light plants
-Variety of scindapsus
-Variety of pothos
-ZZ plants
-Chinese evergreen

High light plants
-Fiddle leaf fig
-Birds of paradise
-Ficus audrey
-Lady palm

Which one is your favorite? 🪴

I haven’t bought a new plant since March so I was due for some new plants. Plant shopping in spring & summer is just way better because of all the new varieties

-Variegated philodendron red Congo (my fave!)
-Alocasia Odora Batik
-Hoya Callistophylla Vena

& always, plants are from my favorite @plantproper 👌🏽

The newest leaf on my Monstera Mint is a 10/10! 🤩

I got this guy from Target and the lower leaves variegation looked promising but when it pushed out it’s previous leaf if was mainly green. I had low expectations when the newest leaf started to unfurl & when it finally did, I was shocked! WHAT?! Look at that color!

Not sure how long it’ll stay this way since mainly white parts of variegated plants die off but I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts
