No I’m not gonna sell you a course on how I did it but I am going to reflect on it. If I told 16 year old @tahicarpentermedia to not give up and start a trade he would’ve laughed and said “I’ve been trying to make money selling prints for the last 3 years f*ck you I want money”. And in hindsight I am grateful I did, I learnt a valuable skill doing my electrical apprenticeship and realised it wasn’t something I’m passionate about continuing, so I tried doing shift work at port botany and realised I wasn’t passionate about working 60-84 hour weeks for slightly more money in exchange for watching my own passions and self wither away. I decided to start a clothing brand with the spare 3 hours a week I had and ran into some trademark issues so 10k worth of product down the drain and a few weeks of kicking rocks came out of it, but on the flip side a lifetime supply of T-shirts and THANK GOD I bought a camera to do all the marketing because that led me to the next venture. I thought to myself, I know how to use a camera, I know I like creating things more than anything else I’ve tried, screw it. And that’s how Timeless Creative was born, 18 months in and it’s been the greatest decision of my life, the people I’ve met, the network I continue to build, the places it’s taken me so far and the freedom it has allowed for are more than I could see myself achieving anywhere else. I guess this is just a long way of saying how grateful I am for taking a bet on myself and if you’re in the same position do it. Onwards and upwards - Tahi. by @_timelesscreative_

Turning an unused poolside wall into something worth using. Custom built-in bench seating finished in Millboard, wrapping the existing space to create extra seating without taking anything away from the pool area.
