hiiii. i am jumping and kicking my feet for this next liminal !!!

featuring a ⟡ very special ⟡ guest @dloveisyours, our practice this thursday will include a cacao ceremony ❤︎₊ ⊹ pgh-native now living and working in kenya, diane and i met two years ago, immediately & easily connected, & got excited about the idea of collaborating in the future. this week she’s back in town and we get to make that dream a reality 🥹

we’ll start off with the cacao ceremony to set intentions & connect deeper with ourselves, followed by some movement and the typical extended savasana sound bath with a couple of new instruments!

Diane Ghogomu | co director of Cacao Love and director of Afrocosmic an international NGO that helps to support endangered wisdom traditions from the forest.

Cacao love (@ceremonialgradecacao ) is an ethical cacao company that collaborates with Ashàninka family farmers and the first all indigenous cooperative in Peru, who are rebuilding their lives in their ancestral forests.

Diane will share strings, sounds and songs from various African forest traditions and invite collaboration. Music is the original medicine and joining our voices together in song and our bodies together in movement is our most sacred and intimate practice as humans. 💎

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! Pittsburgh... are you ready?!
The wait is almost over! Street Fries is officially celebrating its GRAND OPENING on Saturday, July 18 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 AM!

Get ready for loaded fries, bold flavors, late-night eats, and a whole new Street Fries experience. This is more than an opening, it’s just the beginning of something BIG.

We are also excited for collaborations with local creatives @badbitchthriftin @camocustomz @_venice___ and @ryanmichaelwhite 📸

But here’s the fun part...
Before the big day, we’ll be doing a SOFT OPENING... and we aren’t announcing the date ahead of time. Yep... we’ll reveal it the SAME DAY we open.

So if you want to be one of the first through the doors, keep those notifications on and watch our page closely.
When we post it... it’s GO TIME!

beyond excited to announce liminal— a yoga series that i’ll be starting at @navushouse ✨

liminal is a holistic practice that combines movement, tea, and sound healing. it’s an invitation to meet yourself in liminal space — an opportunity for self-observation & exploration (what feels good vs. what looks good).

🤍 tuesday, feb 24
🤍 6:30PM doors open, practice begins at 7PM
🤍 suggested $20, $10-30 sliding scale
🤍 venmo @venicepascual to reserve a spot! (don’t have venmo? slide in my DMs and we’ll figure it out)

this series is intended to serve the queer + BIPOC community, taking place in the safety of a private home. i wanted to host this at @navushouse because I know how uncomfortable it can feel to bring a physical practice to a public space, constantly worried about being perceived by people outside of my community.

liminal is a space to move with curiosity, in community 🤍

we’ll start off with a tea ceremony to ground as a collective and set intentions for the practice.

then comes a 50-minute vinyasa flow where you’ll be invited to move with curiosity and presence, and to meet yourself in liminal space. this practice will include elements of play as well as challenge.

the practice will conclude with an extended savasana (meditation) along with a sound bath.

guests are welcome to linger and hang around after the practice for a chance to reflect and digest.

come with an open mind, leave feeling connected <3
