To be young, gifted, and black.

Here I stand four years later, in front of the very statue I saw on my first tour of the school. Four years later, that unbridled potential that I possessed has been molded into something greater than I could ever imagine. In these four years, I’ve seized every opportunity—two internships, numerous leadership roles, a challenging research project—all while weathering my fair share of setbacks. After everything, through sheer grit, the unwavering support of my village, and a touch of faith...

Here I stand unconquered.

EVERY WOMAN’S DREAM…🔺

Thank you to the HARDWORKING Kappa Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for affording me the opportunity to fulfill the legacy of our 22 illustrious founders. You showed me that when conviction meets destiny, you can’t be denied. In just one year of a lifelong mission, I have grown so much and I’m excited to see where my journey in Delta will take me.

G.L.A.S.S.,
The memories we share together are priceless and will be carried with me forever. Each of you are destined for greatness in your own right and I can’t wait to bare witness to everyone’s triumphs. I’m eternally grateful for the timeless nurturing sisterhood we’ve forged within our bonds.

GOD DID.

As the curtains on my latest act come to a close, I must give thanks to the director. Every achievement up until this point reflects the intention in which my story was written with, each move aligning with the next. I didn't just break generational curses; I forged new paths. This journey brimmed with joy, discomfort, and, above all, growth. Forever thankful for every moment.

Thank you to THEE Florida State University.
