SHE’S BACK!!!!!!

As I come off of my Instagram hiatus, I have the pleasure of announcing that I have attended this year’s IDID Summit! It was such an enriching and unforgettable experience where I not only got to reconnect with my cohort, schoolmates, Sorors, and make new friends, I had the opportunity to also speak one-on-one with dental school admissions directors and gain crucial insight on how to make my application more competitive so that I may stand out against the crowd of other worthy applicants. I want to give a special thank you to Dr. Zerita, Dr. Holloway, and Dr. Cummins from IDID from hosting another amazing event for us pre-dental students. I hope to make you all proud with my journey and I cannot wait to increase the 3.8% of black dentists in our country! 😁🦷🪥

Just wrapped up my first dental conference with the Increasing Diversity in Dentistry organization! Grateful for the insights from dental professionals , meeting schools of interest, and connecting with like-minded peers. Extremely thankful to everyone who made this happen for me and excited to see how this experience shapes my future in dentistry! 🦷💫 #IDIDSUMMIT2024

@_vvsjayla EVERY WOMAN’S DREAM…🔺

Thank you to the HARDWORKING Kappa Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for affording me the opportunity to fulfill the legacy of our 22 illustrious founders. You showed me that when conviction meets destiny, you can’t be denied. In just one year of a lifelong mission, I have grown so much and I’m excited to see where my journey in Delta will take me.

G.L.A.S.S.,
The memories we share together are priceless and will be carried with me forever. Each of you are destined for greatness in your own right and I can’t wait to bare witness to everyone’s triumphs. I’m eternally grateful for the timeless nurturing sisterhood we’ve forged within our bonds.
