I’ve been sitting on these for a minute.

I had the opportunity to make jewelry for the Black Butte Western Luxe shoot, and honestly this felt like a really big opportunity for me.

I’d love to work more in the wedding world and make more pieces for shoots, brides, grooms, and people who want something a little different, so getting asked to be part of this meant a lot.

More than anything, it got me really excited about how much I still want to learn and where I could eventually take all of this. I really want to keep building my skills and eventually start getting into more fine jewelry too.

And seeing these bolos styled and photographed like this was kind of the best way they could’ve made their debut.

Both are handmade by me in sterling silver with turquoise, and both are coming in Friday’s drop.

I’ve been putting a lot of time in at the bench lately, making up for some lost time and finally finishing a bunch of pieces that have been living in my head for a while.

Friday’s drop is going to have a lot in it. Rings, earrings, bolos, statement pieces, natural stones, sterling silver… basically a whole lot of what I’ve been working on lately that you guys haven’t even seen yet.

I’m still deciding the exact drop time, but I’ll share that before Friday.

The best part of Renegade was getting to meet so many of you in person.

Seriously, everyone who came out, stopped by, bought a piece of Wild Fern Jewelry, showed me something you already own, or told me why a certain piece connected with you… you were the heart of the weekend.

Hearing your stories and getting to see where my work ends up is one of my favorite parts of doing markets. I also got to meet so many wildly talented makers and artists, which is another huge reason I keep coming back to these weekends.

And yes, I absolutely came home with a few goodies of my own.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed that the weekend didn’t quite hit the sales goal I had hoped for, especially after all the work that went into getting there.

But I’m on my way home now, and I’m already thinking about what’s next.

A few really special pieces found their people, including these earrings, which somehow sold before I ever properly introduced them here.

And honestly, they went to the coolest gal who is absolutely going to rock the hell out of them.

Now I’m coming home with a whole lot of new one-of-a-kind jewelry that most of you still haven’t seen yet!!

So this week is going to be full of previews because there is a new Wild Fern Jewelry drop happening Friday, and I have a lot to show you before then.

Statement earrings, rings, natural stones, sterling silver, and a few pieces I’m honestly really excited about.

A lot.

This one started as something else.

I pulled apart an older piece that never quite found its person, kept the parts I still loved, added a few more ocean jasper stones, and rebuilt it into this adjustable necklace that can also be worn as a choker.

And honestly, I like it so much better now.

The heavier chain gives it a little more weight, and the colors on these stones feel like an introduction to fall. Rust, moss, mustard, plum… all of it.

Sometimes a piece just needs another chance to become what it was supposed to be.

Speaking of cuffs…

I managed to squeeze in a couple more of these Coober Pedy opal cuffs that were so loved in my last drop, but with a little twist this time.

I’m kind of obsessed with the hand-stamped details on the bands, and I really love the simplicity of the one without the extra silver dots too.

And the opals in the light??? Come on.

Both are packed up and heading to Renegade Craft Fair (@renegadecraft ) in Seattle with me right now. I’m literally typing this as we head north.

After all the making and scrambling over the last few weeks, it feels a little wild that we’re actually on our way.

These will be making their debut at Renegade this weekend, and if they come home with me, they’ll make their way online too.

I genuinely cannot believe I managed to get photos taken before the light completely disappeared on me tonight.

And I’m already realizing it is going to be so freaking hard to say goodbye to some of these pieces.

Like truly, I want to quietly stash several of them into my own personal collection and pretend they never existed.

Especially this cuff.

I don’t even wear cuffs that often, but this one completely stole my heart.

And honestly, it’s not the only thing I’ve made lately that I’m a little too attached to.

Everything I’ve been sneaking over the last couple of weeks is making its debut at Renegade first. Seattle gets the first look at all of this new work, and whatever makes its way back home with me afterward will be photographed and added to the website. 🤎

Between now and setup, I’ll be finishing pieces, editing photos, getting everything organized, and probably doing some of that from the passenger seat on the drive north. So keep an eye out because I still have plenty more to show you.

Gearing up for Renegade this weekend and, naturally, instead of finishing one of the approximately 1,000 things I actually need to finish before Friday… I decided to pull out some bronze wire and make these.

I always like bringing some more budget-friendly pieces with me to markets. Little things you can pick up, stack, gift, or just decide you need while you’re standing at my booth.

And honestly, these turned out so sweet. I kind of love them.

I’ve been calling them the Maybe Knot Rings.

I don’t even totally know why. It was just the first thing that popped into my head, although considering the amount of indecisiveness happening in my life lately, it feels pretty fitting.

Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ll have these with me at Renegade Craft Fair (@renegadecraft )in Seattle this weekend, along with simple bronze stacking rings, sterling silver rings, and all the bigger one-of-a-kind work I’ve been making.

These little guys are usually something I reserve for in-person markets, but if the Maybe Knots get enough love… maybe they’ll make their way onto the website too.
