Cat's out of the bag! Driftwood will have its world premiere at @tiff_net! I'm so proud of this short and this team ❤️

I wrote this film on a whim a year ago, one of those mornings when you just need to create somewhere for your feelings to go. I read it back and thought "hey, there might be something cool here" and crewed up that night at a local mixer for trans filmmakers. 2 months and a million favours later we were shooting, and now we're here. I'm still so grateful to everyone who signed on to a no-budget project in the middle of summer, I feel so lucky to have made something that feels good & true

Thanks also to everyone who donated to our little fundraiser, and to everyone who encouraged me along the way.
