yes you heard that right. all your dreams are coming true, pigeon portrait commissions are open. I had this idea for a while and thought it would make a great gift that’s the perfect balance charming and fun! the final illustrations will be sent as a high-resolution file so you can print, frame, hang or gift the portraits wherever or to whoever you please!

Each commission will be a unique portrait based on you (or your loved one), with your favourite accessories, that jumper you can’t live without, or those shoes that have been with you through thick and thin. You have total freedom to make it your own, so if you’re really into model trains for example, you can be your very own pigeon train conductor! the sky is the limit with these commissions!

I can’t wait to start working on these and I hope you guys resonate with the idea as much as I do haha

Dm to enquire! I will be sending out a google form to the first batch of commissions next week and pausing commissions after this briefly before reopening! Dm to reserve your spot in the queue of requests :) I appreciate all your patience whilst i work my way through the illustrations!!

payment processed via PayPal

Single portrait £30
Couple’s portrait £40
Family portrait £50

Alice (@a.does.art22) is a UK based digital and mixed media illustrator who works with vivid colours, playful textures and whimsical visuals. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, you’ll often find her making scribbly drawings of pigeons, cats, and an array of fish-based-pieces.

Starting out with an interest in realism (which she still loves), Alice quickly discovered the big beautiful world of illustration. A firm believer in the importance of vibrancy in her work, she uses bright hues and bold colours to turn seemingly mundane things into imaginative works of art. She utilises organic textures, scribbles and hatching to add detail and excitement into the very essence of her work.

Alice works across Publishing, Licensing, and Greetings & Gift, and is represented by Alex Gehringer (@alex.r.gehringer). Head to the Bright website to view Alice’s portfolios — link in our bio!

i’ve been having a lot of fun using goauche lately, so I decided to try out this illustration with traditional mediums instead of digital, I’d love to know your thoughts on it! <3

some fabulous foxes on the way to their woodland afternoon tea! 🦊🌟 (swipe to see the whole crew)
-
I used acrylic paint and oil pastel for the background on this and then digital for the characters (didn’t realise how much I’ve missed mixed media until now!!)
