Honestly, August has been extremely emotional, stressful, and overall exhausting. But hiking through forests, playing with puppies, meeting new family members, sharing meals, consuming way too many mouth watering honey sticks, and dipping into Michigan lakes really helped with balancing it all out. Cheers to living deliciously💕

If you’ve met me, the odds of me gushing about my favorite family member Koda Bear, aka “my love, my light”, aka Goober Baby Numbnut (long story), are very high.

This little German Vermin has been apart of my life for nearly a decade. He’s been everything from an absolute pain in my ass, a best friend, an adventure buddy, a morning cuddler, and the one I go to when I need a (fury) shoulder to cry on. He has brought so much joy to my family’s life, and had kept me grounded (and frankly, alive) in one of the darkest periods of my life.

We had to say goodbye to Koda Bear on Monday. I believe that when you love someone, you give them a piece of your heart, and in return you receive a piece of theirs. A piece of my heart died with him Monday, but I get to carry a piece of his for the rest of my life.

It’s always difficult to leave your home and start a life of your own. Seeing him when I’m back in Michigan is always the highlight of my time, but saying goodbye was always the hardest part. Being 500 (+1,100) miles from home and not being able to say a proper final goodbye to him feels like a cruel trick from the universe, but I know that I was in his heart and on his goofy little mind when it was time. by @a.rose.22

July dump- what a GREAT month. Travel, mountains, city, music, lakes, and copious amounts of great food and even better company.

Also everyone send me your thoughts and prayers as this was the last month of my wife, @wade.baret, living 300 miles away from me instead of 1600 miles. She’s leaving me for the other woman (her husband). I appreciate your support during these trying times. by @a.rose.22

I turned 27 outside of a dive bar in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, surrounded by old friends, new friends, and total strangers. (And I wouldn’t have had it any other way)

June 2026 has brought lots of learning, dirty fingernails, uncontrollable laughter, campfire smoke, smoke filled dive bars, 5am alarms, and losing my karaoke virginity to Sledgehammer. Cheers to the miles traveled and the life lived. taken in Wyoming, USA by @a.rose.22

Howdy! Let’s do a quick introduction:

I’m Ashley, also known as the “Chicken Lady” in some parts. Though they’re not the only things I make, they are a favorite (for obvious reasons).

I started my pottery journey when I picked up everything and moved out to Salt Lake City a few years ago. I knew no one out here and joined a pottery class in hopes of a getting back into my high school hobby and making some friends. What I got instead, was so much more. Pottery has brought an indescribable joy into my life. Through this craft, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, creating pieces that I never imagined I could make, and learning so many invaluable lessons, all from a little ball of dirt.

I love being outdoors and I split my time between the coast, the mountains, and the desert. My work often draws inspiration from the beautiful sights I’ve encountered and the wonderful people I’ve met during my travels.
